Just back home (the clue is in the name!). A hard fought victory at Guiseley. Half an inch of snow on the pitch, but seemed not to cause any problems. But how it was better than at 3.00 on Saturday I've no idea.

Our keeper had to make the two best saves of the night - one from a header at a corner in the first half that he tipped over the bar, another decent shot from about 20 yards that he had to push over. The first probably wasn't dipping under the bar, the second was certainly on target. The game was played at a frantic pace throughout with little quality on show. Tamworth struggled against the offside trap for most of the first half - at least on two occasions the wrong decision was made but it made little difference as the ball was running away. Apart from the goal I think I could count our shots on target on the fingers of one......finger. The goal came on 67 minutes from Murdoch, who had not long come on for the cumbersome Christie. A neat move through the middle and Murdoch latched on to it to slot home from 10 yards. No real alarms after that and we were able to hold on for the win. Hope you all had a safe journey home. No offense, but I don't think I'll be at the next round.
