Seems crazy really doesn't it, we lose our best player because of budgets but keep on board some other less 'vital' players. Free or not, a good GK is hard to find and as it stands at the moment, we still don't have one full stop!

Good luck Danny - not sure about your choice of team but I guess we'll forgive you under the circumstances!!

Its not crazy, we need Des on the bench.. not a top class goalkeeper.. doesnt every fan know that? lol

Some positive rebalancing of the squad however... Nick Wright has gone to Kiddy!

Now, hadn't Nick already signed for us? If so do we get a fee?

Hopefully this will free up some funds to get us a good goalkeeper!!!!!!!

(or someone who can run at pace with an eye for goal....easy to find I'm sure!)

Good goalkeeper in my opinion, great shot stopper and improving all the time on crosses.I will however always remember him for the howling mistake at Redditch(was it? my memory fades)and the ensuing miss over the bar.I for one would welcome him back with open arms, not in a gay way you understand.

Goood luck young man, you deserved better, as you were one player that wanted to stay; only to have the rug pulled from underneath of you.

id have loved alcock to stay as yes he was one of the best keepers in the league and will be wasted at bsn , however if millsy brings in a goalie for free like groth who can do a job then it is the right choice as if we have another injjury crisis as we did last season we can have another player who can fill in
