We must be doing well because this place has been very quiet in recent days! Comfortable 3-0 success tomorrow with Hoenes, Clement and Waite hitting the net.

Think you may have a long time to wait. Yes abysmal today but it’s a one off we hope. It was very much like the Darlington match we just didn’t get it together. But they need to review Francis he’s certainly not as good as Luke. Better now than a league match and for that reason didn’t depress me as much. Need to get this out of their heads and get back to winning ways with crucial games coming up. Can’t let this get them down.

We were terrible
They were decent, certainly not relegation fodder
Hoenes did well
Frances has a shocker
Right back needs sorting

We've hopefully learnt our lesson on knee jerk fanny fit sackings...

We were crap today. Missed Bes in the middle and I thought Smudge/Andy got the subs wrong. How Clement came off instead of Fry was beyond me.

You do have to give credit though. Gainsborough were good. They pressed high, they pressed as a unit and Ross Hannah had a terrific game (9).Woodhouse looks like he'll get them climbing the league.

They were good. We were disjointed and poor. Two very winnable home games between now and this time next week so six points between now and then will see today forgiven and forgotten.

The bad news is time flies. The good news is we are the pilots

Certainly a big let down after last week but at least it was not a league game.Never really got going and can have no complaints. Both Beswick and Ford badly missed and that showed in the quality of our passing.Hopefully just a blip which can be put right next week.

No point going over old ground Argus as we don't agree but I remember when mid table in the Conference North was totally unacceptable to you and yet now this is sensational.

Hopefully we can win the league this year, finish top half next season in a league where plenty of clubs have massively higher budgets than us and we'll be able to agree we're back where we started and hopefully no one will be daft enough to think that so disastrous that we need to be sacking people.

Today was poor but in fairness, when we have lost under Smudge and Andy, we have generally responded with a positive result to follow up. If that happens again, today won't live long in the memory.
