Poor performance and a slightly muddled pick. The lad Tharme at full back had a bit of a mare and a midfield of Bes, Fry and Forde didn't look dynamic while Creaney being benched left us lacking a bit of presence up top.
Still, we weren't going to win every game till the end of the season so hopefully it's a blip and nothing more. |

A bad day at the office. Very strange game from an opponent whose position on tonight’s game didn’t reflect their league standings. I think Needham did their homework on us and it showed. Our new loanee Doug Tharme certainly didn’t have the best start to his short time with us. Just hope he gets an opportunity to show us what he’s capable of. Forde deserved man of match the guys got passion.

In a poor performance my man of the match would've been Henri Wilder. A goal line clearance and all 3 of the best tackles of the game.
Like you say, bad day at the office. No drama but frustrating we have a week and a half till we can put it right. |

I know we have an abundance of attacking players but Ahmed seems to have fallen foul of that more than anyone lately. Thought he was doing well before. Would like to see him feature again in the Christmas games.
Last night was a missed opportunity I guess in terms of a chance to extend the lead to nine and then sit back and relax. But we would never have dreamed of being six clear in December with games in hand on some. Keep up the great work Andrew, Gary and Thomas!!

Agree about Obeng actually Dan. Was looking dangerous and had the happy knack of winning pens before he was left out. I'd give him a run too.
Agree about the missed opportunity too. However, if we beat Alvechurch next up, this can be chalked up as a disappointing little blip. Credit to Needham Market as well. Came with a plan. Looked dangerous. We were lucky with the offside goal - lad had a brain fart passing that and they didn't look a struggling side at all. 9 was a wind up merchant extraordinaire but a menace too. 7 was a decent footballer and the centre half (5) had a solid game and marshalled the back line well. |

The fact that Gary and Andrew took responsibility for the loss speaks volumes.
I think they knew they had too many changes, leaving out form players like Yafai and Hoenes You can’t change a team every week and still expect them to perform Not the end of the world. Nuneaton abs hednesford will define where we are come January Edited by Hallam999 - 12 Dec 2019 at 8:15am |

I must admit I couldn’t understand why they made so many changes to a winning team.
One question that bugs me at every game, why do we insist on playing it out from Jaz to one of the back four and immediately put ourselves under pressure again?

And Needham used it successfully against us. What was worse was he continued to do it |
