Dam it! Fixture pile up here we come. Not worried about number of away games v home games coming up however for me could be the first chink in our armour at getting champions spot. Just so many games coming up in remaining time.

...and I know you point to our away record which is a fair point but midweek trips to Suffolk for a step 3 side are logistically more difficult than weekends in terms of fitting in training, work, time off etc.
We should still be beating Needham Market but it no doubt makes life harder. |

8 of the last 12 away from home assuming Needham Market is not rescheduled for this week, which I can't see.

Yes fair point mate, long trip to Suffolk and all that. However on that sh*t rainy night at the Lamb a month or so back , they played us off the pitch wanting and getting every ball and stuffed us. Same journey to be fair , hope we can do the same🤔 Edited by Argus9 - 28 Feb 2020 at 7:57pm |

True that. We absolutely phoned in a performance that night and the kid on loan from Wrexham had a game so bad he was never seen again.
We've chucked the occasional few of them in this season and we'll probably do at least one more but what we have to ensure now is that the blips are followed by wins. It's in our hands and everyone will slip up but we probably can't afford to lose 3 in a row again. |

Don’t get me wrong, under Smudge, Andrew and Ballie TFC have risen from the ash’s however when they attempt to be that bit to smart the wheels come off. The Market home game playing that kid on loan and changing style, which they admitted on the night, and away at Peterborough Sports when they changed formation playing Joe at full back amongst other things. We have enough power in our locker to beat most teams in this league, we don’t and should not alter our style to counter opposition in my opinion. Hope in the remaining games we keep our approach simple playing to our strengths and not the supposed strength/style of the opposition. Edited by Argus9 - 29 Feb 2020 at 10:02am |

I don't know whether it is attempting to be too smart or just the fact at this level, you get inconsistent performances. I do agree with you that we have a good chance if we play to our best.

Have to agree with Argus about the Peterborough no show. A “Rio”like performance on our plastic yet on a sh*te bobbly patch of mud and grass found us out! 6-0 Wilder hat Trick in the cup, same line up at the kick and rush merchants and he hardly saw the ball. Things just did not feel “right” as soon as we entered the ground. Seeing Joe at right back and going behind early, sealed it for me. Best do what we do best!
