Can’t see League taking up option of PPG promotion, will play safe and make season Null and Void. Why would they risk court cases especially at the relegation end. Decision to be made however today they have decided our season ended today folks! Or have they, communications have really got confused in last few minutes with League asking various messages on Web to be removed. Realistically our season has ended for me and it’s going to be called a void season, really hope I’m wrong!

This will all depend entirely on the PL. If they finish, leagues have a decision to make on promotion/relegation or not.

If they don't then there is no decision to make as there is nowhere for promoted teams to go unless the PL agree to run with 23 and then leagues have a decision on just ppg promotion. No choice for any of us until the PL decide.

The league statement bangs on about waiting for the National League but that misses the point. The National League can't decide till the Football League do and they can't decide till the Premier League do.

This all ultimately depends on the Premier League decision.

Ultimate decision made, were not going to play anymore games, which has to be the decision as we have like all clubs players contracts ending pretty soon and possibly before the start of any resumption to this season.

Yes I realise that. I'm on about how the season ends and what is decided. They haven't decided that and won't until those at the top of the chain do it.

All today's announcement really says is that you can't play football while the country is on lockdown which was fairly obvious after last night.

Whether any clubs change divisions will be decided by the premier League at some unspecified date in the future.

All sounds like no one in authority just like the country is uncertain but certain what to do for the best. The longer to make and take a decision doesn’t help the problem become any easier. Void the season or end it now someone will end up feeling screwed over. These are unprecedented times and it’s not going to end with everyone winning.

You heard it here first Pricey.
Enjoy the non Brexit Lockdown. Poor NHS workers having faced years of cuts and change, now tasked with saving lives in the face of deadly contagion!

I never criticised or called it crap chat. You're dead right but I accept it's a football forum so I don't voice it. The "don't bring politics on here" mob are quite happy to bring it up when it suits them but they'll not like the valid points you make.
