As for the football, I'd love the same 22 teams to line up next season as it'll mean this crisis hasn't done for any clubs. I'm not at all confident though sadly.

Absolutely gutted tonight following Leagues decision although not unexpected.  Last post on here for a long while however. Truly turning into a Socialist Weekly Bulletin knees-up on here with little regard to the football, or am l missing something.  Just remember this site is about keeping the TFC Red flag flying not the Labour Red Flag Thumbs Down

I agree with Ian. I just hope that all the clubs survive to start next season.  It would be nice if Prem clubs would help their smaller neighbours out in this time of crisis.  Maybe that is just wishful thinking.

Argus, you are more than happy to dish out political jibes when it suits you. There are people of all political colours on here and the person who by far is the most judgemental and offensive about it is you. I can remember a Tuesday night game with a poor attendance where you mocked about people being out canvassing for Corbyn. You've also mocked trade union organising on here in the past.

The talk in here stays very largely football (as it should), but whining about Eton...making a point you disagree with sums it up.

I stood in the street at 8pm last night to applaud our NHS workers. You know where my political loyalties lie and I know there were Tory voters with whom I disagree on nearly everything out in the street showing their support too. We have radically different views on how the last ten years should have gone and where we find ourselves now but I don't know anyone now who, with hindsight, doesn't wish the NHS had been better funded throughout that time and isn't absolutely supportive of the heroes working in it for us now.

The implications of this for football will be huge and there is plenty we can discuss on that score in here as things unfold and hopefully clubs survive till next season.

In the meantime, I'm off to school to look after some NHS workers' kids.
