Greetings Earth creatures. I have just returned from the planet Covid 19 slightly bruised and battered but still alive and kicking. It is good to be back :) Red Blooded, of course I will be cheering the other lot when and if they win the Prem :( I take my lead from you. I have always admired the way you take every opportunity to praise Villa for their wonderful European Cup triumph in 1982. I admire your fairness and sportsmanship and will try my best to follow your example :) |

welcome back to the land of the living Col.
At least both our chosen teams wear blue. Hope to see you fit and well at The Lamb next season. |

Thanks Geoff, been a rough couple of months but I am getting there :) I always feel a bit strange cheering for Tamworth when they play in red. Must be mellowing in my old age. Hope to see you soon at The Lamb, but I have my doubts it will be before the middle of next year, hope I am wrong.

Glad you're on the mend and I do think it'll be earlier than you think but whenever it is, your first cider in the Peel will be on me mate (I'm not saying I'll pay for the next six but definitely the first one!)
Oh, and how Everton would it be to win the first derby in ages when no one is allowed to go? |

Thanks Ian, looking forward to that pint, hopefully this year :) As you say it would be typical Everton if we won our first derby for too many years, when there was no-one there to see it, but I would take it :) |

0-0 brilliant result for Everton. Congratulations in order for beating the death virus and for Tamworth FC ladies promotion. Is it just me or is the Premiership boring without the fans interaction!

You're dead right. Can't watch it. It'll be pointless sh*te till the fans are back.

Thanks Eton and congrats to Tamworth Ladies for their promotion. Completely agree, football without the crowd is just a money making exercise, just proves how much they care about the fans. Not a lot. That was the first derby I have not watched either in person or on TV for over 40 years. I was made up with the result but having watched a crowdless Bundesliga game while I was in hospital, I have no intention of watching another mind numbingly pointless game.
