Took a bit of time to settle in but had a brilliant spell thereafter up to last third of season. Think referees found him out a bit with his feather touch fall overs. Found himself behind rest of front men in the pecking order but must say to his credit he just got on with it. Don’t think we could afford likes of him and Greg on bench next season in terms of dosh. Hoping we can get some of others up front to resign especially Lait, Obeng and Creaney sooner than later.

Decent player who perhaps didn't hit the heights I had hoped. Agree I'd probably rather have Obeng than him.
However, I am amazed Coalville and others are signing players for a season that at the moment has no start date and no indications about how (m)any fans can attend games. Until govt restrictions allow mass gatherings (insert your own joke here), I can't see how non league football actually embarks on a season at all |

We need a vaccine! Look at the US with their lovely president, corpses everywhere. Social distancing at non league grounds would require an awful lot of self discipline. We ain’t even opened bars and restaurants yet. 2 nd wave inevitable come Autumn. Depressing realism for which I make no apologies Trump fans😎

And the even more depressing fact is if you look at deaths per head of the population our mob are doing far far worse than America.
While a vaccine would be great, I think we have to accept that clubs will have gone to the wall before that happens (if it ever does) so we'll end up rolling the dice on spectators attending sporting events before then. When exactly I don't know but when the govt official advice for September is to have all children back in primary schools full time and not to even attempt social distancing between them, you see that the direction of travel is irreversible. You might get the odd fortnight lockdown like Leicester but any more than that (even if a second wave did occur) is not going to be forthcoming. I have no inside knowledge whatsoever but with the furlough scheme due to end in October the govt won't want the bad publicity of pushing sports clubs to the wall so I suspect we'll restart before that but what attendances will look like, I wouldn't like to predict. Some argue they will drop as people will be reluctant to risk crowded places. An equally compelling argument is they'll rise as people have missed attending live events so much. With so much uncertainty in the air however and with a delayed start possibly affecting the FA cup and the trophy, I wouldn't be doing a Coalville and making financial commitments before having a good look at how the land lies. FA have already muted intention of cancelling all Preliminary FA Rounds and same with Trophy.

Yeah, absolutely. They should be starting in 4 weeks or so and not a prayer of that but how it affects the later rounds will be interesting as if you don't play the preliminary rounds and don't have winners from them, then the qualifying rounds proper don't have the requisite number of teams. That would be the case for subsequent rounds too.
Bit of a mathematical nightmare which might require later rounds to be relabelled and reorganised to make the tournament work. Compensation for clubs excluded through no fault of their own will be another huge logistical nightmare. |

That’s a shame. I wonder where he will end up?
We were better with him in the team or using him as an impact substitute.

He's a very talented lad for this level but I'm not sure we ever got 90mins out of Lait mk ii (if we did it wasn't often) and with finances likely to be tight whenever the game does come back, I'd not want to tie up a significant portion of the budget on a fella who might not play too regularly. Talent wise, he's one of the best at step 3 full stop but I can see both sides.
