Certainly good news. I'm not fussed about paying it but a token gesture towards last year's ST holders (maybe 10% off) as a reward for loyalty and for the 3 stubs we couldn't use last year would've been nice.

It's not a deal-breaker for me, it's my day out and it was in no way the club's fault we couldn't play from March on but those who paid full price for an ST last year and saw the 18 games paid slightly more per game than someone who paid their £12 on the door 18 times which seems a bit harsh.

Does this look like going back a couple of weeks now?

National League have stated they can't start till October 3rd now due to govt guidance and with de Pfeffel waffling on today about "putting the handbrake on" (no nor me), it would seem like October before fans can attend.

The pilot at Goodwood races and the crucible snooker with limited crowds have both been scrapped so rather than coming forward, dates look more like going back if anything.

With that being the case, I'd be tempted to push back some of the pre-season friendlies if possible, otherwise the lads could have played 2 solid months before kicking off competitively.

There was yesterday but I think de Pfeffel's announcement cancels it as of today.

If that link won't open, it's basically that yesterday's crowds at the crucible are the last ones for this tournament.

Can’t see the Government making the same mistake twice (although its seems common practice nowadays). Pushes back likely hood of crowds attending any sporting event for months at least in the current C19 climate.

No point in ordering a season ticket then. Think the coming season will be null and void very quickly.

On basis no crowds means no football at our level future looks bleaker than it did a few days back. Suggested a few months back that if we were to start the season post December possible way forward was to divide our league into 2 separate groups on a regional basis with Champions of each going up. It has the merits of each team at least playing each other both home and away. Massive downside is that gate receipts will of course be halved. Not sure that this would be financially viable for the clubs though, although it would certainly be a practical way to complete a season of sorts. Assume contracts sorted and signed off will be on basis of a full season. Not sure this could be squared with my suggestion also unless clauses have already been included. What a mess this is turning into for a second season!
