I wouldn't keep one player from this season, no world beaters, very little talent as has probably shown to those unfortunate enough to have witnessed it this season. The fans once again are the ones who are losing out here, those who have regularly turned up and paid money to be served up sh*t week in, week out.

This will not change next season, we'll have the same bullsh*t we've had this season. Need I remind people just how awful we were under Mills the first season in the Conf North? That was with a manager who actually had integrity, talent and knowhow. We're in for a rough few season if this bunch of clowns are left with the reigns, right from the very top to the bottom this club needs a massive shake up. If we're as bad next season as we have been this season I can see a lot of fans getting fed up very quickly.

This could be an opportunity for the club, to rebuild, redevelop and evolve, embrace the modern world, learn how to utilise technology, make much better use of PR rather than the prehistoric ramblings on Twitter that we currently have. Explore new avenues of revenue, new interest streams and find a way of building the clubs stature in the long term, all of which could have been done last time we were in the Conf North. This, like last time wont happen, the club wont learn and if or when we're next in the conference it will be the same old story. I wont be holding my breath for positive change.

The above named people you mention Ian all have what i believe to be that vital ingredient at this level, namely experience and of course the requisite ability!

Relegation isn't that surprising. It is disappointing but we are always going to be in the lower reaches of this division and if that's the case every year, then one year you will go through the trapdoor. What has been painful is the manner of it. It's looked tough all season but after the win at home to Aldershot, there was plenty to fight for. Since then, we've taken one point from eight games in which we've scored a total of four goals.

Having Duane Courtney and Nick Chadwick injured didn't help admittedly and although I didn't go last night, losing two nil at Luton is not any worse than most clubs in this league will do but the damage has been done prior to that.

Next year, we need to bite the bullet, compete for the best part-time players around and attempt to build a core for more than one (or less than a whole one as has been the case this year) season at a time. No successful team replaces upwards of two thirds of it's playing staff every season. This season we probably will have to yet again with the change of division and I'll be staggered if our better players (Courtney, Kerry) or our promising younger players (BRE, Peniket) hang around but the planning then must be for at least the medium term. Our squad recruitment since returning to the Conference has been like someone putting together a fantasy football team in terms of continuity. You might keep one or two from the previous season but basically you start afresh. If this is for a newspaper or online competition it's fine, but if it's to actually compete in a division on the pitch then it won't work.

Whatever we come up with over the summer, it must be given some time. If we start well, it'll be easy to maintain this view but if we don't, it's no good throwing toys out of the pram and starting again before Christmas. Of the top seven in the Conference, every club bar Gateshead (who have given Millsy a longer term contract) had the same manager at the end of last season as they have now. In the case of Law at Alfreton and Devonshire at Braintree (similar size clubs to us) they've been there several seasons. This isn't coincidence. Long term planning works. Squads assembled between June and August and endlessly tinkered with thereafter, don't.
The bad news is time flies. The good news is we are the pilots

The club desperately needs to reconnect with the fans as well. We need something to buy into,a vision/goal if you like. That starts at the top and again, sooner the better.
It is official due to Aldershot having to play Hereford so both of them can't lose which means mathematically it is impossible

Feel the same. Kerry is the only player i would keep. Yet knowing what this club is like he will be the first to go.

I hear fromthe lads the pain they are feeling from relegation and although I've not been able to go much I too feel sorry for the club. However, i don't feel sorry for the board and the players, neither have listened, neither have acted and neither seem to have the pride and the passion to wear the badge.

The board need to close that portakabin across the pitch and bring the club back together. Everything always seems Rosie over there and whys that, because the fans who have the club at heart are in the heart of the club, the club house all hurting together. But you could put money on it that it won't happen and the fans and the club and players get further and further away from each other until there is no more. Tamworth from when I started following them were the most friendly club, amazing that everyone ate and drank in the same place including the players, the fact the players came in and were prepared to take criticism was amazing and please bear in mind some of these days were bad and a lot of criticism. But they saw the passion of the people who paid their wages and wanted to do their best and went out and you could see them trying. But now the clubs heart is split in two by the pitch. Personally until someone actually wakes up and realises we are none league and need to get some personality back then whatever is done elsewhere is like a plaster that keeps falling off

Does appear that Bob has taken his eye off the club lately. There are other directors though.
Recently, the only one you see regularly, albiet from the directors side has been Mr S Lathbury.
No big games so others don't show up.
