I hope I'm wrong but I'm not feeling positive about Saturday. AM questioning the desire of some of his squad is going to go one of two ways, fire them up or tick them off and I fear the latter. We know they'll bring a few fans with them so I think a crowd north of 1100 wouldn't be unrealistic.
Hope the team proves my fears wrong and we take at least a share of the spoils. COYL! Edited by Pilgrim Pod - 23 Sep 2016 at 9:35am |

PIlgrim Pod - getting me slightly worried now - the fact surrounds fact that Kiddy averaged just 1.7 league goals a game before playing us - thought they were best team we played against in years - HOWEVER - how bad were we and how good were they! - simple turn up tomorrow and let's find out-

I know this won't be the same for those of you that actually live Tamworth way and have Nuneaton supporting friends. Living in Cannock, we have our fair share of United fans (they're basically like dogsh*t I know so you find some of them in every town) and they all have a soft spot for this lot so I would say I dislike them more than I dislike any other club in this division. If we play like we did v Gloucester at home we'll win this but whether that's possible after those disasters at Kiddy I'm not certain so I'll plump for a 1-1 (which would be better if it involved Danny Newton knocking in a last minute equaliser right in front of their fans again). In fairness to FCUM, Salford are catching them up with the BBC constantly providing yet another platform to that irritating self important, braindead chimp Neville to spout all he "knows" about football (ask Valencia fans I say).

Ok - start it off again - many positives today - we have laid the rot to rest - we'll certainly for this week-end. Had shape for this almost like cup-tie not unlike last years game when it was just as frenetic - liked Briscoe starting but not Jed D being replaced by the complete out of form Clarke - can and able to push on - interesting to hear from NWL - not seen us for a bit - what do you reckon - interesting to get an almost independent view and sometimes that helps.

The results for Tamworth do not really affect my weekend. As long as I am watching competitive football is the reason why I brought a season ticket. There are a number of players I would quite happily play with out, even if it means us playing with only ten men, joe Clarke is one those guys. He can not pick a pass, doesn't break the play up, he offers no substance at all.
The chat for me in the bar was the discussions about how much other clubs charge to get in. Someone I know has paid £204 to go watch blues for the season. I know it's Blues but you can still watch the opposition and blues getting beat. Jokes aside Tamworth charge too much. Solihull moors was £7, Salford city is £7. When you are grass roots playing grass roots football then you should not charge premiership/championship prices. blues did kids for a quid, villa quite often charge £20 a game. Yes it's £8 more quid than Tamworth but like I said even if you watch the opposition it is worth it. Could the crowds attendance being so low be a result of these prices. If they dropped the adult prices to £10 and offered kids for a quid it would not effect the amount people have paid for a season ticket. They could also offer a raffle on the old season tickets so you could win a new season ticket for the next year after this season as finished. |

£8 I would come back. £12 is too much for me. Let's face it not far off watching Atherstone or Bolehall Swifts.
Now £20 to watch championship football. After my holiday I am going to give it go. |
