I know some are annoyed at our midtable season and AM at the minute but before we get too despondent let's remember it could be worse.

England are managed by a bloke whose only notable achievement is getting Boro relegated, captained (not for a joke or for a red letter day but seriously) by JFH as Evertonians call him ("Jordan Henderson"). All they need is Valencia's saviour, Gary Neville to get recalled to the coaching staff and England will be the world's laughing stock.

We might not be winning the title this year but compared to that lot...

Wow - The real Pricey coming out- and bad news l agree with you - not really watched England since 1974 and indeed the premiership ever - overpaid and underperformance mostly in terms of our players - TFC - never expected however to win the league this year but hope it will not take 10 years as some say on here even to get our act together - really just hoping your better half doesn't buy you the MFC DVD for Christmas - health and safety issue as well - what you don't want is one of those 'Cannock' clowns stalking you from previous comments you made just wearing a MFC football shirt - they really scare me!

As mentioned MANY times before , far too many Foreign Players in Premiership, which obviously affects England's chance of doing / playing well. Demotivates players born here too !!!...

Hopefully BREXIT will eventually do something about this.

Somehow don't think Theresa May has got the bottle to do this at present.

If having a really strong league full of domestic players to fill your national team is the criteria for international success, how do you explain Wales' semi final appearance at the Euros or Portugal (who have the majority of their squad playing or having played abroad)'s win?

England's problem is that currently they just don't have many quality players and none of them get picked up by foreign clubs (Hart on loan at a midtable Italian club is seen as a novelty).

Hopefully if we keep sending young aspiring coaches to the continent like Gary Neville at Valencia, we'll be able to show the Europeans the quality of our set up and expand our horizons.

Brexit won't transform football but imagine if it does, having English players playing against more English players in a league weakened by the loss of higher standard foreigners will not very likely breed a golden generation in my opinion.

England need more, better qualified coaches and more top players playing abroad experiencing different cultures and styles of football if they want to improve but I can't see it. The top Spanish side of a few years ago benefitted massively from having players playing abroad and so has the German side over the last few years.

Obviously lots of foreign Players in English Football League can improve
Quality of our Football.

Equally , too many affects England's chances of playing / doing well.

That's why we voted BREXIT, to end " uncontrolled" Immigration, which can be detrimental to those born here.

Don't get me wrong - controlled Immigration can be beneficial.

UKIP do well in Wales.

Wales are very proud of their Sovereignty.

England , in many large Cities , felt like some other Country than England , where to even say you were English , you were considered to be Racist.

Thank goodness, England is getting its Sovereignty back through BREXIT and hopefully this " feel good " factor will rub off on our National side.

Truly don't want to turn this into a thread of you trying to drum up more support for Farage and his moronic mob. If we're talking purely football and you're telling me a lack of English players in our top flight is the barrier to our success, how do you explain Wales who couldn't even pick a starting xi, never mind a squad of purely top flight players making the semis?

I know it doesn't fit your flaming foreigners agenda but don't ignore it. Tell me why it affects England but not Wales. The problem is a lack of quality youth coaches and a lack of talent in the current generation of English players.

Pricey ,

I have nothing against people from other Countries.

However, we voted to leave the EU, partly because too many people from EU were coming here.

Put it this way, you would not get a job at a Company you wished to work for in the UK / England, if there were already more talented people going to work at that Company, from other EU Countries , in BREXIT's case.

You must have been a Remainer, Pricey.

Regarding more talented Youth Coaches , this may now work better, we have left the EU.

We need to get the balance of Players right , so talented players representing England can come shining through.
