Wayne Thomas has signed on for next season with Worcester City

Aaron Brown and Tony Breeden have joined Solihull Moors, while Gary Birch is released

Daniel Bradley has joined Barnet for the new season

Jonathan Hedge is the new Telford United goalkeeper

There is also a lot of speculation that Marcus Law is going back to Kettering as manager

According to their website solihull have with their new signings and retained players have got 19 players. Meanwhile we have one injury prone defender so far!

And Ben Richards-Everton and Kaiyne Woolery had their terms re-engaged and are under contract. What does it matter when the players come in as long as it's for pre-season?

Conor Taylor I'm not so sure about, seemed too lightweight for me

Definitely agree with the thoughts on Connor Taylor, unless he's grown physically a fair bit.  He was far too small and knocked off the ball very easily.  A lot of Conference North centre halves will eat him for breakfast.

Unless I am mistaken,  doesn't play up top for Nuneaton. Plays on the wing for them.

I'm not sure I'd want an assistant whose most notable ability was to fall out with his own shadow. Still, he likes to have two or three clubs a season so he'll have moved on before Christmas I imagine.

Two goals from 38 games i'm afraid doesn't get me overly excited somehow

Posted By: Footy Dave

The reason he hasn't scored is because he has only played a few games last season, spent much of his time on the bench, hence the fact he wants to move on from Nuneaton, to get more games. Says it all though as Nuneaton wanted him to stay, but once again would not guarantee him a game.

Shame about Matt, but we will struggle to keep anyone who wants full time football, but the other side of the coin is we can possibly attract good part time players like the three just signed from Nuneaton.

I can think of Smith, Atkins, Shaw, Bradley, Wylde, Courtney, McGrath & Keane who have played for these after signing for us. I may well have missed a few. It makes our plundering of Nuneaton look fairly minor.

NB/ I know quite a few of the above have subsequently moved on but they've all been within the last three or four years.

This won't affect us but apparently Dan Bradley is looking to leave Barnet having never played for them as he's "not settled" in London. What could possibly be unsettling about living in a city full of unwashed tax-dodging Harry Redknapp types trying to sell you pukka, cushty genuine Rolex watches every time you leave the house?

Kiddy maybe if they've got a bit spare in the budget?

Another good signing. Gateshead are getting a decent side together. I'm unconvinced by Bristol Rovers being favourites for the division as the club looks in a bit of a mess and getting straight out of the Conference first season is extremely hard as many have found out.

Gateshead could be a bit of value each way at double figure prices I think.

I don't think anyone is running down any of our new players or not giving them a chance to perform. I'm quite happy to see how they go but quite a few of us have a passing interest in what former players are doing and it's not mandatory to click on the topic if you aren't one of them.

Money talks if you where in their position then you would done same short careerer for lot players, like any other person in civi street.

I think your wrong about been difficult season, I think be a good buzz about the place and fans and players mixing and all in together win loose or draw..

Off pitch how you think be difficult ?

Connor Gudger did play for Worcester in their friendly on Saturday and going a bit further back, Kieron St Aimie (remember him?) is now playing for Welling. I also noticed that Ryan Lloyd has played the last couple of friendlies for Port Vale and Danny Lloyd has signed up for another season at AFC Fylde so we'll probably see him back at the Lamb later in the season.

BRE didn't impress last season, little vision and only seemed to be able to hoof the ball, I've been more impressed with the centre halfs this season and the left back and right back who played against Rotherham are also much better than what we had last year.

Is he still a Tamworth player?, if so he will have to come back surely.Agree with Get Real2, we have better players this year, BRE plays well with an experienced defender along side to tell him what to do, but without that, he just hoofs it

I don't want to be too hard on BRE. Putting aside views on his talent, he is a young man trying to make it as a pro footballer. As a young man he has simply displayed his lack of maturity in the manner in which he has dealt with TFC whilst trialling with other clubs. As young men most of us would have made bad decisions based on lack of maturity or life experience. I just hope BRE learns from his mistakes.

Like Dale's quote in herald of "and of course we get what we deserve in terms of the amount of effort we've put into developing the player". Take it Maidstone will be looking for a nice bit of development money then seeing as he spent most of last season there on loan. Hard to see how he cam claim any credit. And more to the point how come we had a player who must have been deemed unsuitable for the conference seeing as he only played the last couple of matches yet a premiership team think he's worth a go. What has Sean Dyche seen which Dale couldn't see. Best of luck to Kaiyne anyway and hope he achieves his dream.

Definitely wish Kaiyne all the best but it is quite ironic to see the club claiming credit for his development when mainly due to a lack of chances until we were relegated, he never actually scored a Conference goal for the club. Mind you he was having to battle with Justin Richards for a starting spot so I suppose that was a bit of a mountain to climbConfused

Really don't get the moaning about the Kaiyne quotes. So he didn't play much. He  was still training  full-time at Tamworth, as opposed to a day a week before joining, so that would have benefited  him. If the club invested training time etc, why shouldn't they feel they helped him?

Glad he's been given a chance. Read that he will go into their under-21s squad. May never get the chance there, now they are in the Prem, but hopefully he will get a loan move to go out and get games ... sound familiar?

I'm not saying that the club did nothing for the lad but the club felt he wasn't up to Conference standard until about late March by which time our goose was basically cooked and we were down. I personally think the leap into the Prem is too big and he'd benefit from a decent loan spell in League 1 somewhere like Walsall maybe, but I would argue that he would've developed more quickly had he been trusted to play for us rather than given a grand total of about an hour in his first ten sub appearances.

I'm sure training at Tamworth did help him but I'd have thought it would have been a bigger help to test himself regularly in the Conference rather than in the Ryman Premier.

I couldnt care less if we helped develop Kaiyne Woolery as a player or not.  I care only that the club maximise any possible  financial benefit from his move.  I also think that Dale should receive some credit for originally spotting his potential !

Think Pricey sums it up perfectly for me...not spotting the potential and continued to play Justin Richards...had we have played the kid we may have stayed up!

Anyway remaining positive and hope we do the business this season with a degree of consistency and a good point earned today!

Matthew Barnes-Homer has signed for Whitehawk. Their boss is Steve King now and they've also signed Sergio Torries and Jon-Paul Kissock this summer...still didn't stop them losing 1-2 at home to Staines yesterday though in front of a staggering 188.

Nick Wright started well for Worcester. Both goals on his debut in a 2-2 draw yesterday.

Talking about Ex Lambs players, Phil Smith rolled out for Atherstone at the weekend in an orange kitt that was three sizes to small looked like a Terrys chocolate orange by all accounts. Played like one to. Thank god we got rid of him. Food bill will be halved Big smile
