Bromsgrove on a Tuesday night. One of the toughest home games we could start with. Could be absolutely crucial to early season confidence whether we win that or not.

Look at it another way Pricey it will be their toughest game of the season and it’s at our place! Fear no one mate. Bring it on

Some of you must have seen something I didn’t in the game against WBA.
Waite the only one that shone for me.

Thought we did ok against a very good WBA  YOUTH side.Where we did not do ok was in charging £10 for a pre season friendly with no concession for OAP supporters.Think i will give rest of pre season games a miss and see what a proper game is going to cost.Well thats of my chest now so come on you Lambs.

Totally agree. Assume same pricing for tomorrow’s game so giving it a miss too.

In total agreement guys - Why are OAPs being charged more to watch a bunch of youngsters running around in fancy shirts than in our League Campaign coming up

Guess the club would need to answer that one Argus. Have to say that regardless of who the opposition is concessions should apply to "senior citizens" as well as youngsters. No doubt the reply will be "Buy a season ticket" but that arrangement doesn't suit every individual

In relation to the above, would buying a season ticket make a difference? Is it free entry to friendlies for ST holders then?

If so, I might bother. If not, I probably won't.

Its not just us oldies who it affects,i am just annoyed that we are being more or less forced to pay £10 just to watch a glorified practice game.See its the same for all friendlies so thats me out till the season starts. How to win support, not.

Concessions do apply goldenoldie, but only to people 17 yrs or under of £5.00 i believe

Assume then that you dont mind paying £10 to watch a public workout.I still think that is not going to encourage new supporters down the lamb.

No I'm with you on that one. I think its a bad move on the clubs part and it has happened before where they have charged over the odds for a friendly.

So for the cost of 5 cigs or 3/4 🍺 you won’t support your club, but moan when if does not compete. Sums it up really !

See you faithful there.

Come on you Lambs

I will do a couple of friendlies now I know I can get in free. I wasn't going to pay a tenner but Cefn Druids and Basford I'll pop along to and cast my eye.

Don't need a night stood amongst the brain donors tonight though. I don't need to be told by a bunch of kids whose bollocks haven't dropped how brilliant 1982 was and what a massive club they are (conveniently overlooking closing parts of the ground in their championship visit)

I think you know who I meant. I think they took 735,000 to Wembley this season which is about double their average away attendance (great fans, massive club etc etc)
