Just read on the Herald website that because of injuries we could have Richards and Byfield up front for us on Saturday.  Thought I'd point this out cause at Macclesfield when Richards came on, a very, very small number of our own fans were laughing at him.

I don't think this is on, regardless of how bad he has performed this season.  He is not intentionally setting out to play bad, that's just the way his season has gone.

Just hope that whoever plays in whatever position on Saturday that everyone gets behind them as they are wearing a Tamworth shirt and that's the most important thing.

No chance... Justin Richards has been pathetic this season, he can't jump, run has no vision and has come to Tamworth for the ride so why not give a player some stick and while we are on the subject, yet another outstanding signing by Belford...so giving this lot stick on and team which are already down and won't be here next season is nothing short of what they deserve.....

Suggest you bring some earplugs because they all need a rocket!

Richards in front of goal has of course been shocking. However, in recent games when he has played, one being on tuesday, he was one of the best players, linking up play and making some decent runs. Just a case of confidence, and he has had none all season.

Its not confidence he lacks, its ability!

I have to agree on the Richards point, fans should be able to voice their disapproval, you do wonder how serious he is about playing for the club, or is he just there for the dosh, not saying it will be a lot, but wouldn't mind betting he is one of the top earners, I would be happy to be proved wrong if he starts banging in some vital goals at this late stage, but really think if he is the best we can turn to we are doomed!!!

I will never criticise anybody for turning up to work just for the money, thats exactly what I do!  However I do what I am paid for, Richards does not !

Couldn't be at the game yesterday. What's the verdict? Rather telling that no one has posted their thought.

Two very poor teams and it could have gone eitherway, Cameron had a good game and made some fine saves and Peniket put in a good performance playing in his proper position. Overall you can see why we are in the position we are as there is a general lack of creativity, teamwork and dominance in midfield but when you have used circa 50 players in a season do we expect anything different?

Two very poor teams has been the theme to many times this season, and a very poor team has come second, that being us.

The big problem could be is if Dale is not replaced as soon as the season is finished we need an able replacement to get a squad together to enable us to get a good start in the Conf North and get some fans back to the Lamb. It has been proven that Dale has not got a clue with regards to finding a goalscorer and has gone from starting with a squad that was capable of keeping us in this division to a side with very little experience at playing at this level. I just hope the board are drawing up a shortlist on who to approach to get the club playing some decent football, I make no apologies for staying away from the Lamb over the last 2 home games but have witnessed a lot of dross the previous 12 home games. How we have missed an Adam Cunnington this season

I too have had to reinvent myself to get back on the forum. I could not get on with my real name Andrew Birbeck. I would like to know if have been banned and not welcome anymore. My new user name had become Mr Grumpy. My wife thought the name Grumpy was bang on, so thanks for taking away what little bit of dignity I had in my house. Should I now seek my solicitor for for making hurt full remarks my stress levels are rising as I write.
The game. Tamworth FC was fantastic, best I have ever seen them play. Bob Andrews I love him . Mr Belford top man. Well done keep it up. Funny how one player stuck out when he has been just a little bit iffy all season. Was it a penalty or are you now allowed to drag players down in the box, in rugby would it be classed as a high tackle. Peniket best game so far, what a pity.

I too have had to re-register with a new name, now Footy Dave, formerly DFC.
agree mainly with Happy Red, thought we played reasonably well, & thought it a definite penalty.

Series of Interviews with Mr. Belford on Lambs website.
Quote 1. Peniket is female who celebrated her 21st birthday last month.
Quote 2. Average age of team is 21. If Mahon hadn't been playing, average age of team would have been 15. Didn't realise Mahon is a youthful 66.
