Happy with the result, we could have scored more, were lucky when they hit post in second half. Overall a good performance by most. Disagreed with man of the match being Newton, he played well, but for me, and those around me, it was Burns at right back. I hear a steward took unwell in the clubhouse during the second half, saw an ambulance arrive, best wishes to him and I hope he is well.

I was happy with the result, thought we were unlucky, but to be fair, their keeper made a couple of good saves. Thought the ref let too many late challenged go in the first half from Hednesford, then book a Tamworth player for a late challenge!, we had more players booked, but were not the dirtiest team imo.

Perry was doing his usual Bambi on ice, but we cant complain about that as we didn't mind when he did it for us!, nice to see Todd giving his all as usual, really like him as player.

Agree with comment above, Burns was on fire!.

Man of Match awards from sometimes drunk sponsors (thank you for the money guys) are difficult to fathom on a weekly basis. End of season awards from each and everyone including the Manager mean very little when politics and the rest get involved - the only one that means anything to me is the FANS Award. When Barrow let their fans players of the season go this year my ears picked up and when he signed expectations picked up 100% - And what a star we have and long may we keep him - when not player of the game he is always close to 2nd or 3rd.

1st Half could have been 3-0 up and the keeper kept them in it. Second half not so good....Racchi is class on the ball and has made a big impact, bit more quality and I think playoffs are within reach....great job AM and staff

Agree about Andy Burns, doesn't have a bad game , could easily play a league higher, with us hopefully.

Newton winning the award was hardly  the result of drunken sponsors. You make it sound as if he was undeserving of the award. Passed a very late fitness test, ran his socks off, got the winner. Fair play I say. Just cos you disagree, don't have to slate the decision of others.

Totally agree with Nick. Danny Newton ran himself into the ground and scored the only goal. When we discussed it among ourselves behind the dugout, we pretty much unanimously agreed it should be Danny. Had it been Burns or Greeny I wouldn't have objected but Newton had a great game.

Most where I was sat  felt Newton was man of the match, closely  followed by Racchi.
It's all about opinions, that's why we love the game

Whether the sponsors are drunk or not I don't think they get it wrong very often. Can't remember the last time I disagreed with their choice of MoM.
Danny Newton certainly deserved Saturday's MoM award but I agree that Burns was a close second choice.

what is positive is that we are disagreeing over which player won man of the match, just shows what a good team performance it was for most.
