Left KH - had many worse strikers than him - good god maybe if we sign him we will play two front men - no that can't happen can it?

There are indeed worse strikers, but there are also better.Very poor in my opinion last time around and spends most of his time berating officials. I wouldnt be rushing out to sign him if i was manager.

Ditto here Dosthill Lamb. He seemed very arrogant to me and whilst realising strikers need a bit of arrogance it must be associated with talent, Styche didn't have too much of that.

Note my comments - we have had so many sh*t strikers on books however Mr S did ok during great winning run and we really need help up front fast and this could be are last chance to get a striker who will score goals and ok - arguments v ref but we need strikers up front with Newton to run off head ons and Durrell to feed. Mr S will score goals and many loan/unknown strikers may not - last chance bus guys and girls.

I'd take him
I think him and Newton would work well

Styche sort of struck me as not as bad as some made out but not as good as he thought he was. Not a great signing if it came off but he'd probably score more regularly than Dyer. Whether he'd do as much selfless work would be up for debate. Would rather take a punt on someone less well known with a bit more potential.

We've all seen worse strikers. Justin Richards played for us, after all! Not sure we'd be wanting to afford his wages, and if we could, I can think of plenty of strikers in this league and below that would be better taking a punt. Dayle Southwell, while being optimistic, would be a great signing, as would Chib Chilaka or Jake Reed, both scoring goals in relatively weaker sides.

1 + 1 may make 3 however he was at last home game and now released - another factor is that left KH by mutual agreement - assume his contract must have been paid off to some degree so wages may not be as high as you would expect.

I would take Styche on a free all day long, very decent at our level, and we would be in with a chance as he played for us under Morrell last season.

For me his most impressive game at the Lamb was the match he was played out wide, a good all rounder.

If Tamworth could get him he would be a good addition. I'm not sure he is better than dyer or Newton so would he be happy with a place on the bench, or, like fowler, would he want to be the main man cos he comes with an ego.

After Saturday - really hope it's not a one off performance of AMs new attacking approach. In terms of Styche or any forward with pace we could get in - we are currently left with Dyer who has lost his pace with no one if Newton gets injured/suspended. Saturday was great but not convinced that AM would not buy another defender or midfield.player instead of a fast running forward and abandon his new and hopefully not one off attacking strategy - the only way we will get into the play-off is to get cover for Newton. Styche is a known quantity with much less risk - however me thinks it would have happened before now it it ever will.
