I'd like to see the following start, though in reality I think AM will find a place for Dyer in the starting line up.

Belshaw
Burns, Tomassen, Lane, Breslin
Briscoe, Clarke, Deeney, Taylor, Mills
Newton

Will be very surprised if AM does not include both Dyer and Green (in midfield) on Saturday - really hope l am proved to be wrong on both. Worried if both are included it will set a precedent for many more games to come - oh bloody hum!!

Swap Taylor with Green and that would be the team I'd go with

Swap Taylor with Green, are you serious!, Thought Greeny was poor last night & Saturday. Far too slow. Taylor played well on Saturday along with Briscoe. Dyer was dire.

+1 - hey the PInky & Perky show starts now - and just remember you are 'Pinky'. However your final comment bit obvious - what about Dyer was - 'saving himself for the remainder of the season as TFC number 1 striker'. Another idea while we are at it - Hey what about the Pinky Perky & Pod show - sorry my bullsh*t becomes me!

As to score for first game - going for 0-0 - Mrs Argus going for 2-1 - Briscoe and AM getting goals.

Never get this right , but 2 nil , Newton header and a 25 yarder into the top corner, att:521, ,buergers over priced, chips under cooked, a fanny of a Ref, really must stop drinking before posting.

Have a good day all.

Going for 0-0

You can think I'm wrong, but that's no reason to quit thinking.

Oooh predictions! 2-1... Dyer and Mills for me. I think Steve Diggin an Hednesford old boy will score for Brackley.

Would be interested to hear how a new signing of theirs gets on; a new midfielder James Armson has had a decent pre season providing a few assists and even scoring a hat trick the other week.

OK - I will go first - no surprise we scored no goals today - a couple of us predicted it for obvious reasons - Newton for me is a top draw player but not as target man - l know it's weird in terms of first day scores but you just knew we would not be the team who would score the 6 - help me who were able to go today - really strange a guy who has scored what 5 goals in pre- season comes on with 2 minutes to go but HE puts on a guy who is so out of form 5 minutes before him? - really hoping is not going to be to be a very very long season. TFC sign a striker before we lose any more points!!

Maybe it's because Brackley are going to be a decent side this season? Dean, Armson, Walker etc were mainstays of the Solihull team who won the division last year! Let's wait and see on the goal issue. If we draw a blank in the two homes games I will worry but am not going to express concern after one game

I wasn't there but tried following the game via Twitter. Having read the match reports from both teams on the face of it sounds like it was a well earned point for us. Be interested to hear a few opinions of the team performance from folks who actually went. That Armson sounded a handful.
