Firstly, we can confirm that there has been a technical issue with posts being removed from the forum. These posts were not removed by any of the moderators. It was a technical fault that caused this due to the restrictions we applied to the Guest Group of the forum.

Along with many other forums, we have been plagued by human spammers, who log on to the system to post their rubbish. We thought we could monitor this effectively, while still keeping open the ability for Guests to open topics and make quick replies. Because we had restricted some parts of the Guests ability to post and reply, this caused a conflict with some anti spam security measures on this system and certain topics were suspended.

In an ideal world, this forum would be open to everyone who could post and reply quickly. The down side to this is that the forum would be open to spam robots and human spammers who could post rubbish all day and night. Unfortunately, we have had to disable guests abilities to post topics and reply. This will enable us to manage and suspend the human spammers. The downside to this is that you will have to log on to the forum. We hope this doesn't cause too many issues for you.

We have managed to fix the slight bug in the system and have re-activated the topics that people had thought had been deleted.

We had to, however, attribute the last post on each "deleted" topic to the Administrator as we didn't know who originally posted it (due to the bug), so the last post on each topic had to be deleted (I'll hold my hands up to that one at least).

Apologies for the inconvenience.
