With all pre-season games played with current squad and with no late additions still going for 17th place.

Well I'm going backwards from a top 5 finish to a bottom 5, sincerely hope that I'm wrong.

I am going for bottom half finish 15th. I can not see where the goals are going to come from and I also worry about the defence.

Sad to say I agree, 15th sounds about right for the squad that we have, I hope I'm proved to be totally wrong and we are all celebrating promotion at the end of the season though.

15th. We won't score more than 45 goals in total.

Somewhere between Top and Bottom, worrying thing the Villa games have always been a close affair, so as a yard stick, I suspect a slow start with an improvement as the season where's on, hopefully that is.

If had bet between a new castle end covered, new flood lights or us winning the league this season, I would go for changing the bulbs with very short odds

Doesn't surprise me NWL - always thought you were a bit flash

Would make sense, lower the energy cost and co2 ( read about that bit ) but it's the only way forward with them in use so much. Lighter and brother ready for BT live nights games next season when promoted

Still time to predict Youth- T Sunrise- James-Simon and of course Pricey and not forgetting NWL - not getting away with could be between first and last and all you others ps Mystic don't think you would deem yourself to play such childish games as this - but hey you never know

Not to mention the legion of fans who use RED

Argus as said on another post, Top 7, I like the potential of the new signing, Reid needs to wake up and smell the coffee, he was a fast skilful player and young enough to be again. Like the defence with Coulson in it, we have pace out wide with Powell, solid play with Connor, and two of the best midfielders in the league with Verma and Deeney. We do need an extra Striker through the season, but prepared to see how we start,
"Top 7 "

Anything from 7-12th for  me  . Home form will stay strong, just whether we can pick it up away

I've been a bit up and down,top5,bottom5,to be a bit more realistic,I think with what I've seen, mid table is more likely to be the outcome, but sincerely hope we can hit a play off spot and be the last team in our league to win a game.

Not a chance that will happen, unless  he left for  better  things.

We are almost as one Catcher which is worrying enough in itself - however Who-D has a lot to prove to many - as said maybe last year of contract and he can push on and maybe the V will kick start a better attitude without the need for those cardboard cut outs of his bro - that said we will need all those attributes you mention with squad to stay at least in contention but will be really happy for what about 40 or so points as quickly as possible please

What's Styche on about, telling the fans to be patient if we play rubbish for the first 6 or so games?doesn't he realise that's when you need to be at your best and amalgamate as many points as possible.

As IOM pointed out ages ago we have on paper an easy start compaired to a really tough run in - every point gained will be so key in our attempt to gain a play-off or stay above drop zone from wherever you come from on here - however think Styche has a point excuse the pun - ok I'm hated on here as a glass half empty type 💀☠️ Caused soley through AM however whilst supporting during games I'm an angel compared to the majority around me - youngsters must be given a chance and that's his basic point - that said do we have a choice HR that's what has been chosen as our path/business opportunity

Strange, isn't it. When the club were pushing for season ticket sales the message was we are looking to play with more pace, more flair with an attacking philosophy with the aim of getting more players scoring goals rather than relying mainly on just one. Now that the money is in the message has changed to we are a young squad so don't expect too much. Or maybe I'm just a cynical old git.

Not what he said at all. Reading it, he says he's excited by what the young lads can do but just don't jump on their back if they lose a couple early doors.

Not to bothered by losing a couple of doors Ben - more afraid we lose the whole bloody house

Strong possibility that Burns- Lane-Jones-Morley- The V- Who D- Powell- Styche-Taylor and Knight could start - not many young lads there - just an observation

Take out Powell and add in Upton and that will probably be the lineup.

AM didn't even trust youngsters last season when nothing mattered apart from that awful Advertising break of our youngest ever player having a side show - sure to be a interesting watch down at the Gas Street Station because it seems we are at completely cross purposes at moment - oh hum

Taylor works harder and I think much more likely to score than Reid.
Reid has shown no goal scoring ability so far.

Each year I'm optimistic but for some reason I don't have that feeling for a push for promotion.really hope I'm wrong.

Argus on somethings we seem to be agreeing quite worrying really, but why take the _iss out of a company naming the stadium giving us sponsorship money, does not make sense
Moving on to football and today's game, I think it will be a stroll in the Park winning 3-0,, Jones Verma & Styche

Let's be positive get behind them, to those that are miserable now "it's going to be a long season "
Come on you Lambs
