OK, 7 games had given us a reasonable amount of football to make an early assessment of how we are doing. I have to admit that I am both surprised and happy at the way we are trying to play this season, much more passing, movement and keeping the ball on the floor as opposed to the dreaded hoof ball that we had to endure last year. Verma looks quality which is helping Deeney, and Burns and Morley look good coming forward, although I still say Deeney is a lazy so and so sometimes. I wasn't convinced by Rowley in goal at first but he seems to be getting better with each game so happy enough with that. Not seen too much from Reid but he too seems to be improving with time. And so to my favourite subject, Reece Styche. I have made no secret of the fact that I don't like him, (purely a judgement of him on the pitch as a player, I don't know him away from that, I'm sure he's a decent guy.) His antics at times are just embarrassing, mouthing off at the officials and throwing himself on the floor with every challenge, however, I predicted at the start of the season that he would be hopeless and a red card waiting to happen and I'm delighted to say I was wrong, (well, mostly.) Apart from Away at Harrogate where he was poor He's done a good job and long may it continue. Overall we find ourselves 7th in the league, playing decent football and things are better than I was expecting, so, in summary, so far so good.

I would agree with all of that, I am pleasantly surprised by how well we are doing, but our away form needs to improve big time. Thought Styche did well Saturday to keep his temper under control & if this continues, he should have a good season & so will we. Deeney is a revelation so far this season, he's like a different player from last season.

❤️ your short ones lOM - 💯% agree with everything you said - if we can sort out our away form then who knows what we can do this season - ☀️ is up and shining at moment but it's still very very early days - Come on you FOOTBALLING LAMBS - but guess what 2 away games coming up - let's see

Simple reason Pinks - much much less Hoof and playing it on floor - using midfield as opposed to booting it over them and with a quality partner in Verma he's excelling this season todate

A simple message to AM - play football and see where we get

Has anyone said why AM ( if he did )changed our new and exciting style,

Don't know why - just the consequence - however I'm even getting bored now - l will finally move on to Sunday - key key key now - how do we play - how many points do we take - if we have aspirations to progress it has to be a win - can't say it's boring on the pitch

Pretty sure it wasn't the tactics employed by AM.
Sometimes players have an off-day and boy did  they  on Saturday.

Yep finally have to agree with you Michael - Nothing to do with AM whatsoever for the past two and a bit seasons away - just sometimes players have an off-day.
