Interesting that you have gone for Jezeph in goal, couldn't agree more, Rowley has been very disappointing in my opinion.

Not replaced 🔔's IOM - nothing between our goalkeepers todate

I think Jezeph looks like a better keeper, but even if they are of a similar standard we should be giving our own young player experience instead of a short term loanee.

As said nowt between him except Rowley is on a long term loan deal and just maybe AM will keep him in because of obligational commitment (even if verbal) that he plays on a regular basis

Jezeph the better of the 2 IMO. Obviously no where near as good as Belly.

Preferential chioce has to be Severn in goal 🥅 - always liked that extra cover (see what l did there Youth) -

Prediction time - going for a 2-0 win with Morley and Knights getting goals - gate 695. A must win as home form is all we have. Mrs Argus going for a predictable 2-2 Desmond.

What's with this clean sheet nonsense Argus? We haven't kept a clean sheet at home all season. Going for a 2-1 win

Absolute drivel second half
They were a pub team at best in the first half

If anyone has some spare time it would be good to see our record against the bottom teams.

I don’t remember us beating many in the last ten years

What is it about Tamworth FC. Different managers, different players, same outcome. Depressed fans.

Great first half. Shocking second half. Got to start beating bottom teams if we have any ambition to do well this year. Players let manager down today. No blame can go to him. Same players who played so well first half didn’t play well second. Anyone who thinks Powell should be starting every game may think twice after today. Not much else to say really. Depressing weekend.

We don’t beat ‘bottom teams’ - massive Achilles heal.
Until that mentality is sorted we aren’t going anywhere.

Nothing about today's game - win 5 on trott at home and the snake 🐍 will come back to bite you - Hallam got it right playing a pub team which we gave confidence 2 in second half - sh*t GFC must be keeping a massive Pie Factory going but to be be fair those Pie Men were first to the ball in 2nd half and that says it all I'm afraid

No blame can go to Morrell ?, if it was just about todays game that might be a fair comment, but it isn't. We have been consistently poor and got poor results against teams at the bottom of the league regularly since Morrell has been here, added to that the humblings by teams from lower leagues such as Farsley Celtic and Stafford and a pattern emerges that has gone on for too long for it to be just a bit of bad luck or an occasional off day. He signed the players, he trains the players, he decides on the tactics for a game, and he regularly fails to react when those tactics are obviously not working. I can blame him, and I bloody well do blame him!!!!

Don’t know what first half you watched, the whole game was terrible. Patience with AM is running very thin, he seems out of his depth lately and he looked clueless on how to improve the team and find a plan B.

Come on IOM - I'm actually warming to AM - but l would say AM has been consistent in his half time team talks over his time with us that no one can disagree

- what did you think of Knights performance today

TfcRyan it must of been a completely different game to what you watched, first half we battered them, had plenty of opportunities to score more than we did. Argus unlucky but I never slated Powell just stated on today’s showing he isn’t and shouldn’t be a shoe in for first 11 like the majority think he should. Please don’t twist my words.

Like the rest of the team, brilliant first half, picked up some intelligent positions and looked to link with Styche at every opportunity. Second half like the rest of the team was not at it. Had our best chance when Styche played him through but that was it.

Well did not see that second half coming when I was drinking my bovril, to sum it up.
First half a good solid team performance but not clinical enough infront of goal, second half typical away performance by a team of strangers, which can only be down to the players.

Yet in the second half we still created more clear cut chances than Trinty- as has been the case in every game this season apart from Harrogate. Almost everyone on here pre-season was calling for a striker to be signed - Styche great yesterday but need a striker partner who can finish - difference between this and last season is that we are creating Shed loads of chances so AM has got something right - however we are going nowhere without a striker addition. Who's fault is that l wonder? - And I'm fully behind TB funds being refused for an additional defender - we need a striker and TB will help in this I'm sure along with the funds in hand by not resigning Wasp providing they are still there? - so it's down to AM me thinks - of course hoping that we have not used the Wasp funds in buying up a bus fleet.

Agree to a certain extent Argus that we need an additional striker, but for me this isn’t the problem, we have scored 20 goals this season but have conceded 19. We have lads capable of scoring goals the problem is we are far to easy to score against. Both goals yesterday were preventable. We don’t do the basics right when it comes to defending. It’s as simple as that. We need a keeper that nails down the number one spot.

Come on Argus remember the rules, do not mix threads please lol
AM had pinned his expectations on Reid, who has the ability and skill, but not the determination and desire to achieve his goal and our goals. Unless he has a change of heart he is on his way down at a very young age , next stop Stafford or Halesowen.
Take heed young man (bit of Mills there) and knuckle down before you are moved on!

Not sure were the extra money available keeps coming from Newton had refused to extend his contract in November so we all knew he was not stopping, Verma and Knights would not be cheap but both quality and improvement on last seasons players in those positions
Problem we have is
West Brom feed Kiddy
Wolves feed Telford
Cov feed Skuneaton
Villa and Blues both 💩 May be time to give the kid from scholars as Chance played excellent on Friday evening against Boston if Youth cup

Mix threads - sh*t l feel the Pod is coming to get me now you mentioned it Youth -moving on was told by a reliable source that we were ready to offer Wasp mega money to stay if the Varney Show did not work out and when it did that money was still in player budget land. Who knows if it still is - fact l not seen one of those shiny double decker 🚌s in car park there must still be hope

Would not be worrying about the goals coincided Mystic if we had a striker who could convert all those chances created and we ended up in winning more games than we have - some one mentioned on here (sorry forgot who) that none of our strikers have exceeded 10+ goals a season more than once - not sure Mystic TFC as a club is ready to progress to the National - just have a feeling that the Board would sh*t themselves in having to cough up and maintain a budget to make us competitive as it currently stands - just an opinion and happy to be shouted down as l normally get it wrong

When you look at Fylde and there mega budget along with Orient, Tranmere , Hartlepool, Torquay ( I know but still a big club) who are all in the bottom half of the league it does make you wonder
Entrance price would probable be a minimum of £15, I would guess to give an increase on budget,
Not sure why they have not increased the entrance price since relegation an extra quid or two based on 700 + could put be the difference between a Top striker and promotion and what we have now.

Point I was trying to make is that none ever have been prolific goal scorers in the past hence todate we have been missing so many chances - just look at yesterday - GT should have been put to the sword - their back line overweight and playing a dangerous off side game - we created so many chances which a proven goal taker would have buried - Knights,Styche,Powell all have great talent but goal taking isn't their major strength
