I can’t see what excuses can be made for tonight. The players don’t seem to want to play for him or understand the tactics he is giving. Time for one plan Stan to go, he’s totally out of his depth when plan A doesn’t work (whatever plan A is these days). The fact that Hednesford scored all 3 goals today really shows the lack of class we’ve now got up top after failing to replace Danny and in defence with what ever he’s trying to do with them, especially now they haven’t got belly to lead them, who again is someone he has failed to replace.
Time is up.
Morrell out.

Just don't get why there has been NO activity WHATSOEVER getting another striker in whether on loan or full time - never going to replace Wasp - however no one can tell me Reid was handpicked by AM as a direct replacement for him - if he did for me that says it all and by the way in answer to your comment Ryan and to save Coton a few seconds - 'never going to happen'

Striker least of the problems right now. At least Styche has 8 in 11.
It's defence where the issue is, the two goals conceded tonight with dire. We have to be able to deal with balls into the box  better than that.

13th and dropping - knocked out two cups in our first round - away form approaching worst in league yet again - has had how many chances to formulate a squad - Coton you are dead right AM is going nowhere - as previously said marriage of convenience with Board - over to you Youth in taking any positives out of tonight and I'm sue if anyone can you will - waiting for IOMs verdict on last 2? - where are you mate

At work tonight Argus so missed the game. Garbage on Saturday, sounds like same again tonight, fed up with getting dumped out of cups by teams in leagues below us. I'm at the shareholders AGM in 3 weeks time and might just have something tosay

Argus, no positives from last nights, would stand by AM for the time being as I have enjoyed the football played until Stafford game, but he must make changes . Time for some ins and outs on the playing side. Start with Reid, and Curley, need a solid midfielder Deeney back to last season poor standard without Verma
AM in!

Unless we get a goalkeeper who can command his area ie: come out a catch the crosses, we are going to concede point-blank headers time and time again. The defenders are not doing their jobs. Goalkeeping coach Lee Evans should be drumming this into our 'keepers. Surely AM sees the problem.Just wonder how long this situation will be allowed to continue.Let's face it - in a weeks time we could have lost seven games in a row.

Problem Youth AM strongest/weakest trait is that he stays loyal to his players - seems almost adverse to change - agree Reid and Curley arn't bringing anything to the TFC table and have to be moved on if we are to bring in new players - afraid have to say Conner Taylor unless he gets some goals soon he's not giving team much either - remember AM was looking for him to contribute more on that front than last season and he's scored less. Expect more of the same I'm afraid from team and really fear our next 3 away games with our defence if you can really call them that in so many recent games - oh bloody hum - AM out for me obviously

Taylor scored a couple of weeks back, goal given to another player, Taylor dropped next game!, rarely gets the full 90, tell me that’s not going to affect his morale?. We need a striker & a keeper, the two keepers we have we can give them the nickname Dracula, for obvious reasons!. We need Verma back ASAP, but I don’t think Fox is the answer.

To be fair, he's had three years to cement a regular starting place

On the same point of messing players about - why did AM resign Jed Davies

New keeper desperately needed.Against Hednesford the long throw-in came into the six yard area but Jezzeph, instead of coming out for a simple catch, stayed on his line (as usual)  Cameron Belford was the same.Never saw him come out to collect the ball from a corner. Why would AM be happy with keepers who put us at a disadvantage? I bet York send loads of crosses in because they know the keeper isn't going to go for them.

Jed shot himself in the foot. Spat his dummy out about not playing ahead of Verma and Deeney ... and after a 3-1 win as well!

Great Media coverage now and enjoyed it today and well done lads - but a point Matt on your on the air comment - 'everyone who can't get behind AM and the team should stay away' - blind appreaction in a team is one and we all do it as supporters however slamming fans who have a differing opinions especially after last several home games/seasons and have a downer on AM - what next Matt ban us and lower the attendance - you have a privileged position and doing a great and difficult job but please appreciate differing views

We'll said Argus, but is it easier to change a manager than 18 or so payers every season, this season like a number of seasons we seem to have the ability to beat those around us and loose to those well below us, unfortunately there's no way you can have any stability at this level unless you can't sign players on long term contracts, and that means the right players, its all about money and it looks like we will be a well run club better than most, but just not good enough to reach greater highs, good luck to AM because without success I doubt he will progress in his managerial career, and if he does we have to start all over again.

Screw you Matt. I've been watching and supporting this club since 1979 and if I feel the need to criticise I will, just as I will praise when it is deserved. You want me to stay away because sometimes I'm critical of the team or manager, how does f*** you sound !!!

Trust me Coton - Matt will have got the feedback somehow and it will be his choice if he wants to respond or not - either here on this site or during Chorley live - TFC fan base is not exactly increasing Matt - And remember Kev your fellow broadcaster was quite taken back reminding you of recent TFC performances preYork when you came out with slamming fellow fans - your choice now to nip this issue in the bud

AM has to go - has had what 4 close seasons to choose HIS players and build year on year - no cup runs or revenue and has shown NO motivational skills apart from the ability to massage heads to drop - sure in a minute we will have the TFC connected come on here and say all is well in the good ship “5 Year” - sinking fast without a decent 👩‍✈️

I know, it completely baffles me how people still can come up with excuses to back him it’s hilarious. Our season is over and we aren’t even out of November yet. Well done AM. Now do us a favour and Fox-trot Oscar

Nope no TFC connected on here tonight - defending the indefensible but it will come however but at least they can’t use the tough draw excuse can they - although some have tried - Stafford Rangers have a bigger budget than us - dream on and prove it please!

League position still  decent as far as I'm concerned when you see clubs below us. We have to agree to disagree.

Got to get in the region of 73 points. That's 46 points from the remaining 23 games.Considering we've got only 27 points from 19 games so far,and are in a terrible run of two wins in thirteen games, how do we suddenly match Salford City's points tally (so far) for the rest of the season? We have to W13 D7 L3 as an example,or W12 D10 L1

Here’s a positive comment Youth - if AM still here next season we can either equal or improve season on season FA cup and Trophy record - can’t do worse so lots to look forward to then - god it’s good to be positive - that’s it for another year then unless AM goes

They may have AM tied to that 5 year plan, so another 4 years of no away games

Only asking Argus, just thought it would be interesting to see what percentage of games attended, I respect what you say as you have attended many games Home and away over many recent years, but to me it’s no good shouting re the Manager based on other people’s thoughts

To be fair it’s because of AM that this season will be least games attended since l started watching in 2002 - normally make more effort during the early bit when on travels however will be attending all home games but none away from now on. Rot set in around Worcester away last season. Based on the first 4 seasons under AM and the 6 games I’ve seen todate that’s more than enough for me thanks very much and wave AM goodbye.l don’t wear those rose tinted 👓s you mentioned and hate ☕️. As I’ve said before we are the ying and yang - you are forever positive and me glass half empty with AM at the rudder. - just counted and did almost half of all the away games last year and about the same at home - when in Tamworth never miss a home game period and same away till now IMG]smileys/smiley20.gif" align="middle[/IMG] - same pattern over last 9 years since retirement and before me and Mrs Argus had a run of not missing a game home or away in any competition for 7 seasons - hope that’s gives you confidence in my view of AM out- yours is obviously different which l respect but don’t agree with

You do talk some sh*t NWL - Wiltshire ales best in world - Arkells 3bs and Kingsdown Jubllie which started off as a 10%+ ale when l was a kid and Wadworths Old Timer winter ale up with the best in 🌍 (Youth your being educated here obviously with your appalling beer taste). Poor old Don Rogers year after retiring from football was in a wheel chair for life bless him - and talking of Roy Rogers you do have a point in fact if we get that every game under AM everyone seems to be so happy

Absolutely disgraceful. He needs to go. There has been no change in how we are playing and dealing with teams since the end of September. I fail to see how anybody can still stand by and support him. There are no excuses today. We didn’t even score our goal today. How embarrassing!!!

Dan the inside man, has he side why he did not go in the dressing room at half time?
Do the walls have mirrors on them and he could not face himself ?
Plain just frightened to face the players and pick them out ? So sent a messenger boy in.
Morley ? Come on, Jones did not play well, but who would not be stretched with our two full backs, Powell could not cross his “t’s” never mind a ball, Were was Rowley, not the best goal keeper but to change for a keeper whose only played a couple of games FA cup, B’hm cup and yes we lost both. appologies if he is injured, if not sh_t decision.
Not sure were AM goes from here, but he needs to change. What do they do in training ? Can’t work of defence conceded 20goals can’t be of attack as we don’t attack the penalty box, Can’t be on midfield as we only pass backwards and sideways
One more game at the most I reckon

Argus nothing would please me more than to stuff Scumeaton, AM goes on a winning run into the play offs and wins it! “Yes I have had a few Carlsberg, if only they did managers”
Reality 5 points off the play offs, but also only 8 points off you know what.
Still a win on New Years Day would be a good start to who ever is in charge

Come on you Lambs

Sure Board and AM hope to ride out this storm by a win on New Years Day - and hope the ☀️ starts to shine once again. Assume the Scum will have those 2 players recently sent off unavailable and law of averages suggest even our current team has to win at home some time. For me a win for us will only papercrack our serious shortcomings in so many areas especially our manager. Boston away will be even tougher (4 wins out of 5 currently) - best we can hope maybe with Bobs usual cautionary approach is that AM has been given 5 games to turn around situation - who knows however - he might even be given a vote of confidence - what do you reckon Dan - things are getting desperate

We actually agreed pre-season mate - we had to get in 3 real quality signings to give us a chance to take club forward - Verma was the only one and hes either been dragged down by a combination of his colleagues ineptitude and recent injury but since not been the same. Reid as a replacement for Wasp has been a joke likewise Zack for a Styche and what’s criminal AM has done nothing about it - doesn’t even choose Reid yet no replacement on the horizon- off AM we deserve better than a village idiot in charge and trust me Mrs Argus is agreeing with me after all she’s an expert on the subject after 46 years together

AM has too many problems all at once.He must be tearing out the little hair he has left. The thing is - we know if another man came in the players would suddenly put in some effort and play a lot better. If we continue playing no striker we will plummet.AM should prove he is capable of a positive act and sort out this wretched mess or clear off pronto.

Only a mad man would sack Morrel when he's half way up the league. Half season gone what's the point
Look back 4yrs ago when I was banging on about ambition.

Exactly, have to pay up a year and a half of his contract.

Unless we properly get sucked into a relegation battle, I think he will stay for the season.

I'd imagine might be a case of a few players being shipped out first.

As Argus has said before, play the youth, show the value of the system.

I'd like to see Ezewele,  Ricketts, Walters, Shaw given regular game time now and others on the bench

Ditch a couple of the older heads and bring in a couple of hard men

You mean only a mad man wouldn’t sack him. Yes we may appear to be mid-table and if we were comfortable mid-table I would agree with you. Yes we are only 4 points off the play off places, but we are only 8 off the bloody relegation zone. Only having 2 more losses and we will be staring the relegation zone in the face. Time for people to actually wake up to the fact that we are more likely to be closer to relegation than playoffs with the way we are going under AM. We need him gone and now.

Yes , Tamworth FC need a big backer , to change its image / attract more support...

My constructive criticism of the slope , came to fruition...

With Villa and Birmingham not exactly producing brilliant football, surely spracing up the Shed, by demolishing it with a better stand and improved changing rooms would indeed be beneficial...

The Shed as it is / changing rooms have seen better days...

Wouldn't we qualify for Lottery funding for this ?

What makes me laugh is all you hear from fans on social media is 'bring back Dale Belford, Gary Mills, Darron Gee or Marcus Law'  Who next, Sammy Chung?

Have a little bit more imagination people please!!
