Let’s hope not. We all know he’s no good and it would only stop Reid’s development.

Got a lot of experience including league experience, I would be happy to have him on board, scores goals

It's Ben Fox who has signed

Nothing against Fox whatsoever however - he was only ok for us and nothing more - not nearly enough - we need a shake up - - as for Reid's development being impaired by an incoming striker - god forgive us- let's give him a contract as long as AMs - will take that long to get Reid to run across defenders and actually move and not behave as a non-moving statue - Reid will never be the answer to our current problems

Nothing against Fox, but we don’t need another midfielder, WE NEED a striker & defenders that can defend for a whole game!.

Don't you get it my fellow - going back to his very limited contacts - all this bill sh*t about building up serious contacts with local league teams - love to be proved wrong but but but but

Verma is injured so I would argue we need a central midfielder otherwise its Shaw/Taylor alongside Deeney

Fox - Played well for Burton in the League Cup and scored against Cardiff City earlier this season

had two games on loan at Solihull too before McDonald's axing and was man of the match in both. Not sure who Argus feels we could get in better

Best signing we could have hoped for. Unbelievable that he is being allowed to play in the 6th tier

Another backwards step by AM. Just more proof that he hasn’t got the contacts and connections we need to improve and progress

Perhaps we could sign Devine Intervetion Joey - but you are so right - I'm not sure like you who we could get better in under the current regium - if this is the best we can do with no additions - positive next season - lots of new grounds to visit

Please expand on the myth that AM has decent contacts - and the reason we are sinking fast in a lower league that Mills- Cooper - Gee- Little - and Belford (some) had to contend with

Richard Brodie is one of the worst strikers - a term I use loosely - to grace non league.

At least Fox has potential!

Spends plenty of time working with Walsall, Villa, Wolves, Shrewsbury,  Albion  etc.
They have to want to send  the players out  to this level at the end of the day.
Incidentally, a win Saturday and we could be in the play-offs ...

Lol no
We don’t need a striker

Well the last time I looked Burton were in the championship, same as villa & blues, it can not be totally about contacts it has to be about the quality of a player in which the clubs you are talking to have available and are prepared to loan out.
Fox is a great capture for us, will strengthen midfield. When Verma is back ( sat I hope ) it will allow Knights to move to a more forward role joining Styche

Agree but warmed to him a little bit when he last played us - seconds before kick- off he was over my side feet away and gave him a bit of loud banter ' your just a dirty git Brodie' - as running off following kick-off looked back and shouted 'hang on a minute we've only just kicked off mate' laughing - at least he has a sense of humour and you can't stay it would ever be boring with him and Styce upfront together.
