According to someone on the Facebook group, Reece Styche has been signed by Darlington. With the current state of affairs regarding results, I can’t believe AM would sell him, especially with the pressure already mounted on him to get the results back on track

I thought he joined us to be able to play part time. Darlington are full time and not exactly a short drive

Our top goal scorer this season, decent player imo, goes down a bit to easily though.

We are part time so Darlington still probably "fits" with him wanting to be part time. It's a long journey to training twice a week, but at least it's only twice a week (plus home games) rather than every day, and he can car share with the two lads we've signed from Nuneaton.

If he goes then we need to ask questions of where our ambitions lie.
Styche has been a fantastic asset this year.
Lose him and we will be bottom half

Not sure you can put this down to our ambitions. He put in a transfer request. Do you keep an unhappy player? Bigger clubs than Tamworth  have tried and failed at that.

Can't find any news that he has asked to leave. Link anyone? We will see what sort of manager Morrell is if Styche leaves. His replacement is vital. Having said that - He will probably just slot Reid in.

No Verma hasn't gone, we don't need any more midfielders.

The article is about him returning to play against us tomorrow, he was part of our FA Trophy winning team in 2011

Poorly worded article. But it looks like Verma stays for now at least

No, he will sign a striker.
Styche asked to leave.
Morrell found a replacement for Newton in Styche, so hopefully he will do same again

Darlington FC is aware of the following statement regarding Reece Styche on the Tamworth website.

“Following intense speculation, Tamworth Football Club can confirm that Darlington Football Club are in talks to sign Reece Styche.

The player was recently made aware of interest from Darlington Football Club, and after discussions with Tamworth Football Club officials, the player indicated a desire to leave. Subsequently, Darlington Football Club submitted a bid that met Tamworth Football Clubs valuation of the player.

The player remains in talks with Darlington Football Club, with a deal expected to be concluded in the next 24-48 hours. Given the present situation, he will not feature in tomorrows fixture.

No further comment will be made at this time.”
