Well to me and some of you, not much. Be interesting to see how many of you think we’re good enough to finish in the top 7. For me extreamly doubtful with Styche, but now NOT A CHANCE. Could do with an emergency loan in the next 2 weeks for a new striker, for me Reid doesn’t make it. Not looking good as a TFC fan yet again, should of expected it.

Just think Sir Bob with his 5 year plan is doing exactly what politicians do when it gets uncomfortable- - put it into the long grass - however to make light of a situation mate - we have none! - sure however all those ☕️ smellers will not say boo to anyone and will make light of situation on Monday night and cheer AM and him off that platform

With the new formation adopted over the last few weeks (3-4-1-2) with Knights pushed up alongside Styche. Would like to see a Knights Powell partnership and if we need some brawn Reid can come off the bench.
A little bit like the Townsend & Zaha partnership

Styche has gone! Move on, we have needed an alternative attackibg force just may be we will now be able to dip into the market For two additional attackers. Will be a hard week for us but plenty of time left to secure a play off position.

Agrus you moaned when he signed Styche last season, you moaned when he resigned him this season, and now you are moaning because he has sold him.
Common factory to blame is obviously AM,

Cracking win! Not many gave us a chance, including me. Proved us wrong again. Sharpness of Knights and height and strength of Reid could do us without needing another striker. Knight scores the winner on the road yet again. Can’t dwell and push on to next week, bit of consistently, can’t see that happening though. I wouldn’t get you hopes up I’m certainly not. Reece who?

Getting good at being consistent in not being consistent Chaps - key now in the bigger picture do we want to push on pre the new 5 year plan - Reid will never be the answer sorry and we will miss Styche big time - hopefully AM will prove me wrong and come up with some decent strikers - serious test he's now got the Styche 💰 plus TB - no excuse with his contacts

Happy to be proved wrong today
Well done

Excellent result. Knights tries his heart out and got what he deserved, despite what I thought wasn't a great display from us. Reid was virtually anonymous if I'm honest. Defence headed and kicked all afternoon though, and Rowley (who has improved for sure) made a couple of great stops in the last 10. Well done all!

Darlo fan told me today they paid 50k for Styche, I'd say it'll be closer to 30 but don't know.

Again, have Newton, Styche and Knights not been decent strikers. He signed all three.

Ok about Styche, you never disagreed about the moaning, so that’s settled then.

Great win after they nicked Styche this week. Poor game overall with Darlington playing No football, just kick and 🏃 to Mills who kept falling over, which as much as I liked Styche that was his only fault this season so now they have two. Second half they created a few chances which one in particular late on following a tricky run through the box to shot high, in fact if the rugby post had been left up he would have scored. Keeper made a great save but again had he come off his line in the first place he would have caught it with ease. Pitch very bobbley. Overall enjoyable day.

Argus thought you would have posted by now after you said previously it was going to cost you and Mrs Argus nearly £100.

Roll on Tuesday
Come on you Reds

Not doing away for now as l said in a previous post - not money really - why would you want to invest in time traveling away for the next 4 years when boards view is that any serious investment won't be in place to Year 5 - remember TFC not in our blood Youth (not a dig seriously) - let's see how tomorrow nights soirée goes - it could be a DYER evening or just maybe
an informative gig

Bring back Ross Dyer I say. 50k should entice him out of retirement.

Argus not sure we’re this lack of investment from the board comes from after what’s been done over the last two seasons in particular?

Investment yes Youth but not into the first team - ok some will say its for the future but Youth (not you) is a risky business with absolute no guarantee of success - parents will quickly push their little babies out to bigger teams and finally not sure AMs demina is suited to Youth - got to be one of the worst chancers we’ve ever had - plays safe safe safe

Yeah, clearly.  Can't think of many u21s in our first-team  squad to be fair.
Just, Jezeph/Rowley, Coulson, Upton, Powell, Reid, new striker, Fox, Walters, Hayden, Shaw, Pegg.

Referring to our U21s not those bought in - those you’ve mentioned from our Youth never given a decent run anyway and others just shipped out never to be seen again - many of us rated Jed D as an example - todate home talent has not be used to the fore and that’s the risk Coton - and surely the point - You mention Pegg he was just given 10 minutes and not even used again even on bench for the last 2 nothing matches of the season - assume we was used to sell Youth teams of the future having made his debut - sometime very soon AM will have to take a chance on our Youth and not import them in - hey just a thought

Pegg  is very much a part of the plans from what I can see. Big player in the FA Youth Cup run as was Hayden. Sure their time will come.
As for Jed, blew his own chance by kicking off when he wasn't selected ahead of Deeney and Verma. Not pulling up any trees at Hednesford

Youth players are always blooded, it gives them an opportunity to show there ability without putting pressure on them every week, Pegg for instance has seen and felt what it’s like and has to continue to work hard to have the next opportunity on his hopefully long and successful career.

The FA Youth cup games were superb and has said previously Pegg showed his experience of being around the first team who he trains with regularly, along with a few other youth team players and the 21’s

Argus not sure with all your issues why you both, I find it an exciting prospect going forward and who knows may be we could sell a few on with a percentage of each transfer which could give additional income to the club.

85th year next year what’s the issue with waiting a few more?
“All we are saying is give youth a chance” (see what I did there Argus)
