Tamuff to win 3-1 Knights, Kotwica (welcome to the lambs)

I hear that these are the big spenders in the Evo-Stik North sitting second, 1point behind Alty with 37 goals for and 21 against.

No pushover, so let’s hope we can play to are best and put them to the sword.

Come on you Lambs

Getting really weird - same team CUP attitude and performance came out today that mirrored Stafford - in between we had the best ever performance against Kiddy in league when we were really pressed and tested - so many players underperformed today apart from Denney but none under any pressure from not being picked for next game - example thought Morley very poor today but will play on Tuesday - why not pick Curtis Strong - whoops gone out on loan - we will finish many points from play-offs like last season so Tuesday our only chance of glory

Where have Strong and Curley gone on loan?

Absolutely embarrassing today, it was shambolic to watch, Deeney was the only one who actually had a good game. Very disappointed in the new signing. Before everyone jumps on me, in my opinion, he should of rocked the show today as Warrington were of a similar level to what he is used to playing and he stood out as much as wally in a where’s wally book!! It was a real opportunity to make a good impression and show what we have to look forward to seeing from him, but he was a total flop. I only hope he turns it round next game and shows us what he has to offer. As for AM I still stand with the fact that it’s time for him to go.

Some unfair criticism of koticwa I'm my opinion. He was a lone figure up front with no support whatsoever. He looks the kind of striker who needs a partner to play off. It's time for a change in formation in my opinion.

It appears that we have spent the Styche money unwisely and now need another striker.

Styche has scored for Darlington on his debut.

Totally agree with TPtfc. Koticwa had no support and when we did mount an attacking position passed the ball around and then lost it. Give the guy a break and get the ball to him.

Kotwica was always brought in as one of two strikers. Club looking to bring another one is as well.
Nice one for writing him off after one game though

On that performance we would just about fit into their league, Warrington well worth the draw, a real shocking second half performance TFc.

Is that it mate - expect a bit more detail and effort - so we’re your 🍟s hot or cold and how many ended up on your shoulder

Bring as many strikers in as you like, but if you fail to defend properly at the other end, which we do in the majority of games, then we will still get beat. I repeat, its the central defence in particular that needs to be rectified. Turned far too easily, and dont pick up from set pieces!

When you have a manager in place for so long you expect progression year on year - this season todate we have a defence and attack which is worse than previous but a midfield miles better- 5 year plan to reduce debts would have been maybe 2 or 3 with an average cup run - AM has been consistent during his LONG period in charge - cup performances and running out of puff towards end of season - let’s just see you ☕️S and really hope your confidence in AM pays off but hey always next season

I said exactly the same thing at the start of the season and maybe not so long ago! 99.9% of fans were more concerned on where goals were going to come from and never once regarding defence. I said it from the start we are too easy to score against, it’s ok having an experienced lad in Jones at the back but he is having to martial 2 young lads either side of him and this may be having a negative impact on his game. We can score goals, that has been evident, what we can’t do is defend. I’d like to say I told you so but that would be patronising.

Not patronising Mystic. You are speaking the truth. Its pretty obvious i would say, that when you have only kept 3 clean sheets all season and none at home, then something has to be wrong defensively. AM has mentioned himself on several occasions this season in post match interviews about our inability to defend set pieces in particular, and yet the same mistakes are happening game after game, and will continue to be made i'm afraid to say when you have players not mobile enough or consistently good enough for our level

Think saturdays performance confirms that future talk of being in the play-offs is rather silly.Three cup defeats to lower division teams shows that we are just not good enough( hope i am wrong but cant see us winning replay ).Football is all about money and at present we do not have enough to really compete.

Pretty much spot on goldenoldie.Would say that we can compete, but not consistently enough to be serious contenders. Money i'm afraid does talk, however much some people want to suggest otherwise.

Cup defeats to lower division teams - assume our budget is/was bigger

AM has the budget to compete in this league I believe, its just how he spends it that's the problem. Also, tactics play a part.

Disappointed not to have won on Saturday, from we’re i stood behind the goal it looked a certain goal , to be robed by a very poor set of officials .
Moving on.
Looking forward to going to a new Ground tonight, another ✅

Going for a 1-3 away win. Zack to score 2, and Knights

Come on you Lambs

We are competing. Two points of play-offs.

Brackley were 7th last season on 73 points and 9 defeats. To equal their achievement we have to get 46 points from 23 games and only lose one more match for the rest of the season.

That was last season. As said previously we are 2 points off this season.

We will be lucky to finish in top half of table and really hoping that any chance of cup glory this season doesn’t end tonight

Worse Argus, still spluttering. Possible the worst 1st half I have seen. Second half a slitely better with several attempts on goal which they blocked.
Easy to blame officials but they were truly shocking, I was inline for there 1st goal and it was offside by a mile, and yet again in the second half we had a good goal disallowed, and they were the major decisions, but lots of other thing like throw ins given in the wrong direction on many occasions.

Best team won on the day.

Looking forward to Saturday with rosey tinted glasses I know, but you can’t change the past, and a win will help put it behind us.

3-1 win but no ideal who will score for us

Come on you lambs
