Transfer listed, but door left open?? Is this just an attempt as a kick up his bum or to see if he wants out? Very surprised as first comment or were we all expecting it.

Started the season very well, probably with Verma alongside the best two midfielders certain in our league and above, but since September has let his standards drop reaching his lowest at Scumeaton. Looked like 🐼 eyes, possible enjoyed Xmas to much.
Will we miss him ? Yes ! great ability
But we need team players - which he needs to prove once again

Would rather play with him in the team than against, but require 100% contribution

AM stated in the same interview ED had been under performing, wasn't behind him when the chips were down and they'd been there before. I can only assume ED has rightly or wrongly, undermined AM and as stated, not for the first time. Sounds like a disruptive influence within the camp and the sooner he's gone the better as far as I'm concerned.

Perhaps TFC managers in the future should be banned from signing anybody with initials ED - we have previous very recently did we not

Deeney probably told AM he was a crap manager.

Mrs A always says some people are like clouds Lamb - when they disappear it’s a beautiful day - oh hum wrong weather front potentially gone me thinks - overcast conditions over Tamworth will continue long term

The thing is he probably did! His brother is a b3ll3nd and he strikes me as being cut from the same cloth; just my own personal opinion.

That's fair enough, I'd quite happily tell Deeney he is a crap player, I'm no massive fan of Morrell at the minute but if one or the other has to go, bye bye Deeney.

Not been his greatest fan from the start. Had doubts from the friendlies and said as much on here. I think Deeny has had a negative effect on Verma from the start and maybe the rest of the team. I could see a difference in Verma on Monday. Just now hope this wasn't a one off improved performance.

Worcester get 20% of the fee due to sell-on clause.

Not sure of the validity of the rumour but heard at the Nuneaton game that his destination might in fact be to that lot down the A5. We shall see

How do Nuneaton run a full-time club on their gates and pay fees for players?  Why can't we? We get bigger gates than them.

Sure we are about to have arguments about validity of part time against full time on the wages likes of us and the Scum operate under - not sure even if we went up we could afford to go full time now - step up in the wage bill if we wanted to do it properly and attract the better players who want full time has long gone for us under current regime.

They don;t pay fees for players though.
In fact, they have sold several on for fairly decent fees ...Elliott Whitehouse,  Joe Ironside, Alex Penny,  Aaron Williams etc, in order to  try to balance their books.  They won't be signing  Deeney.

I wouldn't use Nuneaton as an example of how to run a football club in a financially viable way. There's a reason the aren't called Boro' anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if the full time set up that they have at the moment causes them problems again.

Heard that we (Darlo) are signing him, any good?

Can be good, when he feels like it. Thinks he's better than he is and can be lazy. Needs others in the midfield to do the running for him and rarely tracks back. When he's up for it can pick passes that open up the opposition. Overall, not that bothered to see him go.

Plays great when his brother turns up to watch.
So is the Darlington master plan to make a team up from Tamworth rejects.
Looks like Tommy’s plan which he achieved at Corby, didn’t get the opportunity to finish the job at Scumeaton, but could now finish it with you I fear, he loves the Evostik Prem.

😂 out loud - in a crises who do you call out for - no it’s not 👻 busters but brother of Troy Troy Troy Troy - that said we can do a bit of good business with our 🚌 - so many Scum players travelling up there mid week for training - serious answer when the chips down he’s not the man - trust me Tommy’s not always Right - see what l did there Youth - however and how ironical is this - since playing football on the floor Who D this season has been tons better - just a shame (and I did say it last season) - Wasp would have been even better - just remember how many runs chasing that hoof ball - played at feet how many MORE goals would he have scored!

  More than Tommy Wright!
Won FA Trophy with  Wrexham ... and they finished  second in Conference Premier with their record points!
Pulled us our the relegation zone first year. Two sevenths and 9th  with us  ... Tommy Wright relegated Corby, put full-time  Nuneaton in the sh*t  and now has Darlington in said sh*t.
Argus, if you'd rather have Tommy Wright than Andy Morrell, then you really are a bit odd.

How can you compare the two?!

Tommy Wright has spent loads of money at Darlo. Mills, Styche, some other Nuneaton player, and by the sounds of it now Deeney.

Pretty sure if Morrell had his budget we would be a lot higher than 11th. We certainly wouldn't be fighting relegation

So after how many chances would you close the gate on AMs tenior - have you not noticed Sir Bob has already given him 4 years - TW who l have no love/hate for has had months - but trust me if AM buys another winger next week

Months in which he has taken them from a few points of the play-offs to bottom three! He had more than months at Corby and Nuneaton.

Can he play Wing - has he played for Wrexham previously and is he currently injured - not laughing now - AM has to deliver - Now here’s the question - is he a replacement for Wasp or Reid or Styche or Zack - you would if Telford or Scum but it’s us - get this man OUT of TFC
