It appears that Tamworth are in the doldrums...

Mid table , thinking with he population it has circa 70k ? , should be in a higher league.

To be fair, Tamworth has its own council , although in a Birmingham postcode area.

Looking back , it was rather pathetic Tamworth had a slope, trying to be in higher 0 laying circles , when at that level , no other club played with a ridiculous slope !...

That has been rectified...

The stadium is not the best and The Shed does need a revamp... The club needs a better standard of player and that needs a League Club loan set up... No ifs or buts.

Barnet played in the league with a much bigger slope than Tamworth's (Eleven feet)

I remember many an fa cup run where the bigger teams hated coming to the lamb ,many a good manager used the pitch as a weapon rather than a money making artificial surface where better teams enjoy coming to play ..
Yes football has changed some say for the better ,I say not give me the 8os 90s any day

You'd have loved the the late 50s and all of the 60s, very happy days.
