Second step tomorrow in our fight to stay safe in this league - first tonight FC United v Chorley Not - FC could jump above us and go 3 points clear. Going for a 2-1 win - a Shaw brace of goals. Hoping he gets captain tomorrow.

My first prediction for a while,so I'm gonna be positive and go for a 3-0 victory for the Lambs, if I remember correctly we've bagged a few goals at Alfreton in the past and good luck to the new gaffer.👍

I hope for a win but feel we’ll have to settle for a point, I’m going for a 1-1 draw with Asante getting off the mark with a debut goal.

Not sure whether Burns sent off for a bad challenge or last man. However Taylor should hold his head in shame - absolutely no need to man handle player as ball was going nowhere - cost us dear as couldn’t been much worse today with loads of teams winning or getting a point and overtaking us. Thought Fowler got tactics right at half time reverting to a normal back 4 and matched them in second half until Taylor’s mad moment so at least thumbs up for that. New striker showed a great deal of promise and think he will be a handfull at the Lamb and may actually be the difference in us staying up. MOM today has to be Jones - thought he had a really good game. Absolute minimum is 4 points from the next 2 - if we get anything less l really will start to worry about our tenure in this division as form table never lies - now dropped down to 20th in last 5 and 19th in both last 10 and 15 games - at least l was able to buy some decent ounces of black plastic in a shop in Alfreton Antique Shop

Rules quite simple NWL - you need at least a 20 minute cry directly into your 🍺 to turn it into a DD taste alike but for a Watneys Red Barrel- it takes a 40 minute cry and a additional 10 second piss
- oh hum back to the 70s

Argus spot on, oh this is so difficult for me. Ref was shocking so inconsistent, Burns sending off ridiculous and did not think it was a foul as he played the ball across the box edge to be cleared by us.
Connor sorry mate but inexcusable
Positive up until that point 10 men held them had a few chances and well worth the draw

Roll on Tuesday night

Come on you Lambs

Yeh must agree,a stupid thing Connor did in the area, he'd had a good game in my opinion and wasn't far behind Jones for MOM who never put a foot wrong all match.Apart from the penalty and the very dubious but brilliantly taken free kick by who else but Brendan Daniels our goalie was hardly troubled. The new centre forward looked sharp in the 1st half and was unlucky with a couple of shots so I reckon he'll soon be on the scoresheet.

We’re now right in the middle of the dog fight, only just above the scum and they have a game in hand, if we don’t get at least 4 points from the next 2 games we’rre in the sh!t big time, for me Jones was MoM, Connor was up there with him until his moment of stupidity which cost us, and no way was Burns challenge a sending off, Asante looks as though he is going to be a good signing but we need to get the ball to him, Daniels free kick was quality but besides that he didn’t do much,

The last time I drank DD was in the Albert was 1968, just poped in from the youth club down the road
WRB not sure about that, M&B mild in the Globe started me into the world of beer drinking, happy days

And was l the only idiot to buy a match Day Programme today - has to be one of the worst I’ve ever seen in terms of content and value for money - £3 for a thin and feeble effort - sorry guys you can do a lot better - just think NWL you could buy 35 pints for that in 1968

Fair play to the guys who do the Lambs programme ... it's not bad for the level .

Think our current Lambs effort is best I’ve seen in the 16 years I’ve followed them - and to be fair critical of TV highlights or the lack of them over several years but volunteers who now deliver them deserve so much credit as do “Radio” highlight guys - keep it up - however we NOW have to get our act together on the pitch starting Tuesday
