If we can’t beat them on Saturday might as well give up almost. Getting desperate at least a draw will keep points difference between us same. NF down and Gainsborough doing nothing at moment so they look most obvious to fill bottom 3 including Telford with us a 4th in that order. Going for a 2-0 win - Shaw and Verma for us - 624 attending.

Not a bad response for our most important game in many many seasons - as much apathy on here as the fans who have turned backs on TFC for home games - come on you lot

2-2

Forget the draw, nothing less than a win will do on Saturday, surely we won't rattle the crossbar so many times as we did Tuesday night. We must come good soon so I'm going for a 3-0 win to the Lambs.

How about the Lambs trying something different for a change and kicking downhill first, anyone know the reason why they always kick up hill first half.(just a thought)

Forgot Whodeeney will obviously score from a free kick so 2-1 now.

Don't normally do well against them, but will stay optimistic, 2-1 win.

2 points lost today and league table not looking good - don’t think situation helped by trying loan player Thomas a head of Shaw - who knows how good former is - but we know Shaw and so it was proved - the other loan signing from York looked lightweight and dips in with York City fans verdict on him. sh*t no more panic signings guys

Well let's face it,we were awful today, the result looks ok,2-2,but I've seen better teams in the Sunday league. The most exciting thing of the day was my toffees being handed round oh and the pint at halftime.

Looks like no youth teamer is going to make it then.

With the fixtures coming up in the next 10 days we could be 19th in the league.

Sorry mate given up on that cause - however here’s a thought - we let Jed D out to get more games under his belt but we get Thomas in from Mansfield to do the same - both not match fit

On the basis of that performance, we are going down.

Actually felt we'd played well v Brackley and York ... seem to have gone backwards even from then

Jed D should have been brought back to the club a long time ago. I presume Thomas was number 4 today, the first half just passed him by and was way off the pace in getting up and down the pitch. But to be fair he may have been brought off due to a bad neck keep watching the ball flying over both midfields.
Big smile

God it’s very very hard being Argus - was just going to say we can still mathematically make the play-offs but not sure how today sarcastic comments help us now - not sure also how you drop key players in the vain hope incoming unfit or unskilled will help our cause - worried you bet.

Fowler is Morrell mark II. Same results, same performances.Need a complete change before we run out of games.Someone who can inspire hope for next season.

what I witnessed today 'worse' performance by far against a team that have been struggling also. Playing against us must have given them a confidence boost. Sure they must be gutted to concede so late inn the game.

If I want to watch football of that standard I can go to Anker Valley on a Sunday morning and watch it for nothing. No cohesion, no pattern of play, players pulled out of position and no real effort to get back, and no movement from team mates to compensate. Add to the mix the fact we can't pass to each other, can't tackle properly, resort to panicky, mis-kicked 'clearances' every time the ball comes near our goal and the whole thing is just awful. When we were relegated from the premier we were taking loads of players on short term loans in some sort of panic ridden amateurish attempt to accidentally find a team that clicked and get the results we needed. It failed. This season now has the same sort of feeling to it. In my opinion we are more likely to turn things around by keeping our own players, but changing tactics, formations, match plans, training routines, and of course being able to react to change things during a game if things aren't working, all the stuff that managers are supposed to do. We've gone from a side with hopes of making the play offs to one in a very real battle to avoid relegation, worrying times indeed. Already looking forward to the inevitable Tuesday night trip to Workington in the middle of January. To all of you travelling to Salford next week, see you there, might be a painful afternoon though. COYL!!!!

What is worrying IOM it was painfully obvious that Alfreton and Telford so out of touch and form they were only ever going to score from dead ball situations and not from free play - and we let them

Does anyone know what's happened to Mystic Pegg? perhaps I've missed something whilst I've been on vacation, but it's very predictable on the forum with everyone agreeing with each other about how rubbish we are and our style of play.We are definitely in a critical position in the league and the Borough fans are loving it, knowing that with the games in hand over us they are going to finish above us this season and that we're more likely to be relegated than they are.Hate to think I am deserting a sinking ship but doubt you will see me at Salford IOM,the only time I will be going there is to visit Media City and watch Countdown being recorded.🔠⏰

Discounting NF because down and out we are bottom of form tables over last 5, 10 and 15 games. Don’t expect to get anything at Salford so so much will rest on Darlo at home game. Worrying that we will be up against Styche. Also by then teams CURRENTLY below will have played their games in hand. . Shaws goal yesterday may have kept us from going down. If they had won with 3 games in hand and only 3 points behind l would have tipped Telford overtaking us - as it is with 6 point margin still intact odds for me that NF, Gainsborough and Telford still favourites for drop.

it's been credited to Tom Shaw.

Can't see us picking no more than 9points up from the rest of our games with the squad we've got at the present time, sorry but being realistic I think it's gonna be NF, Telford and us for the drop, and to think I predicted a top 5 finish at the beginning of the season.Where are you Pegg.

Looking at our remaining games and on present form, we will be lucky to get 10 to 12 more points.

Have to agree that was one of the worst first half’s I have seen, second half was better, other than Spennymoor, but Yes Dan supporting MF, I thought it was a by Kettle from the set peice in the first half, there keeper collided with his own centre half and a different penalty in the s cond half which may have gave them confidence to play a bit more. Then to gift them two goals and score two showed a lot of resilience.
at this stage point are worth more than games.
Hoping for a three card trick on Tuesday night.

Come on you Lambs

What can you say about the game. A terrible performance.
Have no idea why Jack Thomas or James Gray have been signed.
Getting very worried, having been confident of staying up comfortably following the home performances against Nuneaton, Brackley and York.
And yes, I do quibble over the goal because it was clearly Verma who scored it and he's one player who deserves credit this season!!

Sruggled to find the effort to comment on Telford game. Not just rubbish but utter garbage. Can see it being difficult to get this lot of panic signings having  the desire to fight for Tamworths future.Lets hope i am wrong but i cant say there are many of the present squad who i consider good enough for our club whatever league we are in next season.Saturdays display was one of the worst i have ever seen down the Lamb.
