Judging by Mike Fowler's demeanour during his after-match interview I would imagine he has no solution. The team has let two managers down now.

AM stated that he wanted to play football this season so bought in players who could play - commendable - but now in a serious dog fight where we need fighters - Powell and Knights (who l rate) couldn’t tackle back if they tried. Missing a figure at the back like Preston (Youths favourite ) - and afraid to say Styche up front - neither would ever take prisoners in ANY situation and could get US going in times of hardship on pitch - we need leaders now not lightweights

Need an immediate clean sweep of the management. To be honest I would welcome Dale Belford back in his firefighter role until the end of the season. Need some passion now.

Bloody el Coleshill a man after my own heart.seriously though I couldn't even see Dale doing a lot with this lot we've got at present, why the need to bring in players that are really not good enough for this league is beyond me,why not get Jed back?he is as good as anything we've got in the team, and why leave Laney out for so long.I reckon a few of us on here could pick a better team than what MF has sent out these last couple of games.

We're in a really drastic situation and looking at the leagues upcoming fixtures,I can only see it getting worse especially with the games in hand against us. I'm trying to keep the faith but realistically we're f----d good and proper.

Is it just me and you Argus? Bloody dale Belford? Are you guys actually joking? We might as well bring Des Lyttle as his number two whilst we are at it! The clubs in the early stages of crisis and people are talking about bringing bloody dale back! Iive read it all on here now. We need a fresh management in, get rid of MF, he should never of been appointed in the first place, especially when he was part of the bloody original problem. As someone said on Facebook, we are more appealing to somebody to be manager in this league than we are in the one below. Please get somebody in Bob and quick! And that is not dale Belford!!

We need someone to oversee our U21s and academy teams and really push that side of things - serious breakdown this season in getting youth into first team in my opinion - got to be better long term rather than bringing in youngsters from elsewhere, lightweight loan players or journeymen - we are sending the wrong message to our youth and importantly their parents - they need to see this light at the end of the tunnel. There also has been a serious problem in gerting local leagues involved in using our pitch which l assume will have ramifications financially for us. That should also be part of his remit - we need to get Tamworth onside. The man for this role for me is Mr Dale Belford.Just an idea folks. Not talking about No2 or assistant Manager here.

Said that l would get behind MF Ryan and give him a chance - think l mentioned minimum of 5 games (as if my opinion means a lot anyway) - don’t expect we would get anything at Salford whoever was in charge but if we have serious aspirations in staying in this league the turning point must be the home game against Darlo - if we can’t win that one l reckon we will be close to 4th from bottom and then I would start to question MF remaining in post.

Argus like someone said you got your wish.
Always barking at the wrong tree.
Ambition. A club with none for the last 5yrs plus.
Plastic pitch
Now look what's happened sacked manager with games on Tamworths side. Replaced with his apprentice looking at very bumpy ride to the end of the season.
Next season.
More of the same even if they escape the drop.

Remind me - you don’t do TFC games anymore? - the tree I’ve seen growing since 2002 was well and truly chopped down by AM - and just maybe had you been privey to the last few seasons you would also be Barking at the Moon like many on here - remember all you AM moaners it’s our fault - must admit saw this coming.

Lets hope we do avoid the drop because few of the players we have at the moment will be good enough  to gain promotion.Saturdays performance was garbage but to be expected when we seem to sign people just because they are available.Too many players at the club who are just not up to this level of football. If you want the best then we must get our signings done much quicker.Especially goalkeepers!

Alf fighting back from 4-1 to 4-3

Looking at our results, saturdays game was the Seventeenth time in the past 23 matches where we have conceded 2 or more goals in a game. It aint rocket science chaps to see where our problems lie. Its like watching The Keystone Cops at times watching us defend. We have inept central defenders in particular who are pedestrian to say the least. How many times this season have we conceded from set pieces where no one has been even remotely close to putting a challenge in. The minute the ball is played in behind our defence we are stuffed. Clearly neither AM nor MF has been capable of  seeing this or doing anything about it, choosing instead to bring in sub standard strikers or midfield players. Tom Shaw who is a decent player was then left on the bench in preference to both Thomas and Taylor. My god! How on earth do you think we are going to win games when we concede as easily as we do. God help us at Salford and Kidderminster. I think some need to wake up and smell the coffee coz its hard to see how things are going to change and where the next point is coming from!

Crazy to say but what would we do for Preston, Dyer, Clarke and a few others. At least they showed a bit of fight. I said last season while people slated Dyer, he was scoring 10 goals a season from right wing while Newton mopped up the rest. That trio could and should still be here.

Worst case we drop to right outside relegation zone if ALL results go against us - can’t see it happening but hey ho - enough to drive me to 🍻- knowing unpredictability of us we will hammer Boys Toys yes please - hope it doesn’t however turn into a wet dream today

Posted By: Argus9

And so it came to pass - not just the ice but the wet dream came to boot or rather no boot - indeed 19th - going down we we don’t get 3 points against Darlo - and before Saturday a Telford win on a Friday we will drop into relegation zone

Who ?
Choices are
Mrs Mills sacked by York for taking a ex league club down on a big budget, still grateful though it’s always good to play York
If it came back, would seriously think about not bothering until it left
Billy Heath sacked by Halifax
Paul Cox sacked by Guiseley
and maybe the last two could do a job. Agree with Argus give MF full support, need a few more games to settle new players into a team

Seriously worried - whilst still think Telford is the team we are in compo with for that last relegation place even Trinity have won in last 5 and we haven’t guys - if Darlo beat us we’re going down - simple we have to start winning games - currently in that spiral drop - and we need some desire and fighting from the players - think allowed to say that on here but hey you never know as some people are so easily offended - treading on 🥚 🐚 s - have to go Mrs A is pulling me away from screen to watch TV of all things - oh hum “Dutchess on Duke Street” once again - can’t knock it can we

Over last 20 we apart from NF bottom of the form table - don’t want it to go to last match at Trinity either - we need a win to kick start momentum however can’t see where it’s going to happen - afraid we do have the worst team since I’ve ever seen lacking leaders on pitch and a confused 5 year plan on the side lines - it has been a disappointing season and that’s being very polite - was expecting this league was actually our level - if we go down sure at least 6 or so clubs will have bigger budgets than us or maybe more under current 5 year plan - not sure where it’s going to end really - imploding as a club big time I’m afraid - Credit big time Sir Bobs investment in the pitch but not the management and underuse that followed fact not fiction- - and by the way no dig at MF - impossible position been given and form table says it all - AM in charge of what 15/16 of those games .

Oh yea of little faith Hal - we’ve actually gone up a place - call it devine intervention - just a shame looking at the table not sure future defeats will result in us doing the same - oh hum getting a bit dim not dissimilar to our floodlights - heard time and time again lucks not going with us and appalling refs decisions costing us - However good teams don’t need luck and refs - you make your own as they say. Frenzied Apathy. Fowler urged us to believe but hasn't delivered. We are sleepwalking towards the Northern Premier.

Can't see the comparison between dale and current situation ,the conference was a massive league to compete against much higher budgeted sides ,myself I think dale and staff should be commended not slated ..
Managers jobs today are hard ,once you upset a player you lose him and his click ,just look at some premier league sides and championship ,
Player power

Here’s a question guys - have we the fighters in the team to get us out of the - fed up with having no penetration in final third time and time again - when its gets tough the tough get going - starts on Tuesday big time - Styche will play as usual for his life like he does every game - have we players who can do the same - 9 games and counting - stand up TFC players or off -

Would give anything for a return to hoofball .. got us two sevenths and  ninth.
Attempt to change philosophy  this season has back fired massively.
Not sure you can try to play your way out of this league anymore.

No

9 games to prove us wrong mate - At the moment the T in Tamworth stands for T as in Tufty as in the Tufty Club - and let’s not forget joining the Tufty Club was free - we have to pay for this - Tuesday prove us wrong

Maybe our 5 year plan was to get relegated so that we become a top team in the division below. Crowds would then increase and help us rebuild.

Think I see some flaws in this plan

Five year plan may become a ten year plan.

Maybe the 5 year plan was all about pitch hire, make shed loads of money and throw it at the team, who should have been mid table and stable.

Wake up call Mr Andrews and others, count down has started.

So Sir Bob reckons we need another 10 points from remaining games to be safe - not won in 10 games and whilst playing well against a poor Darlo side if we don’t take chances once again against HFC on Saturday we will get stuffed. Luck has nothing to do with our predicament- over the whole season we ain’t been good enough - will get behind TFC once again at week-end but we have to start to win - afraid we will have so much pressure on us in the key games at home to FC Utd and NF and Gainsborough away we will blow it - at least it’s not boring

Agree to an extent with this .. perhaps not bad luck but  certainly silly errors have cost us and I don't blame AM or MF for them. For example, Taylor's stupid error at Alfreton cost us a point, Zack's cost three v Salford. Those four points and we'd be pretty much safe now IMO

So we only need 4 more points then and you think we’re safe?

Not said that  have I?  I said we would be 'pretty much safe'.

If we hadn't have given away those games and had four points extra on the board ... we'd be eight points clear with eight more games to  go ...  you'd expect us to accumulate what we need.
I'd say the chairman is pretty much right with targeting  48 points. ...had we not thrown away those points stupidly, we'd need two wins from our last eight games.
As it is, we need three and a draw.

Could do with point v Harrogate and, Ferriby, Chorley and FC United need to be  wins.

Can't see any points from Stockport or Kidderminster away.

Then, it leaves Curzon and Gainsbrough  as games we could do with draws out of.

If it goes to last day at Gainsborough, think we have big problems

Got 4 points from last 10 - and think we all agree we have just 7 games to get a whopping 10 points as we don’t want to be going to Gainsborough wanting anything - can be done but as usual we have certainly made it hard for ourselves - a point tomorrow will be a bonus me thinks especially as 7 teams below or just above us have midweek games - whatever happens if we don’t beat NF and Utd of Manchester at home we may as well 😘 this league goodbye

Over the season things even themselves out Dan - games remaing under that intensive magnifying glass as were the 2 you mentioned - stupid errors by players who should know better that form a team as a whole - if they were good enough there wouldn’t be a problem. No one on here has mentioned a major culprit in that penalty fiasco- if we had a CAPTAIN on the pitch he would have told Zack where to get off and grappled ball out of his hand - he I’m afraid stood meekly by and let the incident pan out unfortunately to TFC disadvantage - not the first time Jones hasent shown leadership qualities on the pitch - we need 11 leaders on the pitch however in the remaing games.

Slightly better with Gainsborough beaten - only one relegation place up for grab’s more than it was this morning but only just - looking at small mercies where we are - just look how you can push out of trouble if you are able to win like Spa

Not going good guys - don’t expect luck when a team - my and your team can’t win a single game in 13! - however With Telford and Utd winning at half time we are really in the - 2 points from the drop zone and Telford have 3 games in hand - not to mention our final game - hoping for a better last 45. Just hope this message is useful to some who don’t have access to results tonight otherwise some will call it tripe

Destiny is in our hands not others, only our results will determine survival. But a bit of help wouldn't go a miss

Help ? - if you don’t win in 13 when teams like Utd and Telford both won tonight - more like dysentery not destiny mate - draws no longer good enough I’m afraid - if we get beat on Saturday even a win against NF could turn out to be just a catch up - all all nothing and really hope we can turn a season round where a place just above drop zone will be glorified as a success - oh hum. Tripe oh yes todate
